Teravista Golf Club
About
Despite its Hill Country setting, Teravista Golf Club has more of a links feel, with wide-open fairways and casually rolling mounds. About 60-70 white bunkers spot the layout, and water comes into play on 14 holes. No. 17 is the no. 1 handicap, playing a long 443 yards from the tips. The hole bends left toward a kidney-shaped green that is surrounded by three bunkers. Teravista G.C. offers a beginner-friendly tee box that plays only 3,744 yards, making it enjoyable for any skill level. The National Golf Course Owners Association has dubbed this 18-hole Clifton-Ezell-Clifton design a "Beginner Friendly Course."

not user friendly
I recognize that we're having a pandemic, but there's no reason for the course to not put WATER on the course, at all - no where!!! and, as if taking advantage of a less than ideal situation, they charged $12.50 for a bucket of balls -
that's about double the going rate.
I won't be playing there again.
All around great track
I love this course! Challenging but fair, always in good shape.
Moment of peace
Course was in great shape, gratitude for being open, having clean carts and taking extra measures so we can golf in a safe environment and practice social distancing. Advising golfers where the hole was ----back front middle----since no flags was helpful and usually spot-on.
Deviation from Coronavirus
Very good day with the course in great shape and the pace of play even better. Only negative was my tee time before 10:00 and range didn’t open until 10:00. More time on the putting and chipping area so guess it wasn’t that big a negative!
Jack
Outstanding greens, and course layout. Several holes were cart path only and that contributed to pace of play. That should improve with warmer and dryer weather.
Slow Play
First let me say I have played this course for the past 12 years. I do love the course and the rates are good. I have on several occasion had slow play here, but today was especially slow. There was a fivesome two groups ahead and they did not keep the pace of play. Nor was there a Marshall to hurry them along. I will probably not play here on weekends again as there are other courses that do not allow fivesomes on weekends and have Marshall’s patrolling the course.
Thank you
Nice Track
Loved the course layout. Very good winter conditions with excellent greens. 4 hr 15 min pace which was great for a Sunday round. Very friendly staff in pro shop and on the course.
Great course
Thank you all for having me. I really enjoy playing the course.
Terrible
Payed $50 to play a 3 hour front 9 not to mention didn’t even get to finish the round. Course play was absolutely miserable. Only thing good about the course was the greens. Wouldn’t go back. Also, My buddy and I got put with two other guys and it seemed like they’re we’re doing it with every person. WONT BE RETURNING
Great layout
Great layout and while course was dormant the fairway roll was crazy! Very hard to control. Not a bad thing, just hugely challenging. Greens were in great shape!
Pace was agonizing slow. No marshall.
I’d like to play course again when in season, but pace of play was a huge bummer.
course very noisy
Lts of noise from traffic around the course Not a quiet experience
Teravista needs to address several issues
This is a well designed course with good greens usually. First issue is their bunkers are terrible & they don't seem to care to fix them due to cost. Most of my friends consider them "Ground Under Repair" and take a drop out of them. Secondly, there are numerous tee boxes that are even close to level. One of my pet peeves is having to search for a Level Lie on a tee box. Once again, there doesn't seem to be a desire to address this issue due to cost. And finally, ther pace of play is awful, took over 5 hrs to complete the round and fixing that issue doesn't cost anything, they just need a desire to do it.
Great winter golf
Weather for Dec.24th was great. Fairways were what you would expect for this time of year. Greens rolling true.
Great course at a great price
Love the variety of holes and the open fairways. Great course for those still learning the game.
