About
Rowlett’s first course has been laid out over a flat range of pasture, supplemented by 15 acres of lakes and over 1,000 new trees. Designed to be hacker friendly, the lack of mature trees provide an especially generous look and feel, tempting the mid-level handicapper to tee it up from the 7,191 yard tips and go long off the tee. Bent greens are the highlight of the round here–they roll true and provide solid opportunities to snake in a few long putts.
Getting there : Off of I-30 exit Dalrock Rd. and drive north through Hwy. 66. A half-mile past 66 veer left on Princeton, which dead-ends at Liberty Grove. Turn right into the Waterview division and take Waterview Pkwy. to the clubhouse

Don't leave anything in your cart
Because they may not put it in lost and found. Left a new pair of sunglasses glasses in my cart and went back less than an hour later, glassed are nowhere to be found. Gave exact cart #, description of glasses, and person who I returned the cart to with to proshop with brand and description, they said they found them the next day but were not even the same brand.
Overall track is in ok/good condition except for huge cracks/crevice from being hot/dry, which balls dissappear into.
Staff
Courtney was absolutely excellent. He set the tone for a great day of golf, especially when it was our first time playing this course. Food/Beverage service staff was great! Only bad experience was checking in at the pro shop the individual was unfriendly and uninviting for first timers.
Great value
This course has a fun layout, in good shape and is a great value. Greens were well kept. Few issues in the fairways with mud, cracks but nothing that was a big deal. Love the course!
Nice course
Surprisingly in pretty good shape for this time of year.
Wonderful course
We had a later tee time, 5:30pm, but the pace of play was great, we were never waiting. The course itself was good. Not too hard, but not too easy either.
Handles Water Well
Rainy day, but the course played great in the wet weather!
Only nine holes where open.
Got to the course and the front nine was closed.
This was not mentioned anywhere on GolfNow.
Great beginner course
As a newer golfer I enjoyed this course. Pretty easy for an average to seasoned golfer, fairly open without too much water. Appropriately priced, solid conditions, will play here again.

The course was in pretty good shape. The weather was a little hot and humid, but very tolerable. I enjoy playing this course because it is in better condition and many others have played. And it’s fairly challenging. I would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to play in this area.
