About
Rowlett’s first course has been laid out over a flat range of pasture, supplemented by 15 acres of lakes and over 1,000 new trees. Designed to be hacker friendly, the lack of mature trees provide an especially generous look and feel, tempting the mid-level handicapper to tee it up from the 7,191 yard tips and go long off the tee. Bent greens are the highlight of the round here–they roll true and provide solid opportunities to snake in a few long putts.
Getting there : Off of I-30 exit Dalrock Rd. and drive north through Hwy. 66. A half-mile past 66 veer left on Princeton, which dead-ends at Liberty Grove. Turn right into the Waterview division and take Waterview Pkwy. to the clubhouse

Waterview, GC, on s6-1-23
The course was in pretty good shape. The weather was a little hot and humid, but very tolerable. I enjoy playing this course because it is in better condition and many others have played. And it’s fairly challenging. I would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to play in this area.
Good course for price
Course was in decent shape for this time of year, range balls were a bit pricey, cart girl was pretty unfriendly and didn’t even look like she wanted to work. They wouldn’t let you use range balls at the the chipping area, driving range was a bit hilly. But for the price it was a decent course. Fairways were in great shape, greens were decent, tee boxes not so much. They had one hole where they had the tees set up about 200 yards into the fairway but didn’t bother to say anything, we just pulled up on it. Course is very forgiving and wide opens not a lot of trees or water. Good course for beginners, pace could’ve been a bit better but wasn’t horrible for a Sunday morning. Would play again most likely
Good greens
Greens were good for putting. They were working on several tee boxes and bunkers. Nice layout.
My round at Waterview GC
The course conditions were very good. It was a little wet in spots to the previous rain. The pace of play was excellent. We didn’t have to wait on anybody else. The weather was very good. It was cloudy and overcast, but not humid, and almost ideal for late May in Texas. Me and my friend enjoy the round a great deal, and would gladly play it again.

In good condition. Tee time was on time.
Great staff and cheap beer
Greens are garbage
Sadly, greens are in terrible shape. The fairways were decent, but the greens had patches everywhere and you just could not read them.
