Waterview Golf Club

Started playing Waterview about two months ago, have played 4 times since. Really enjoying the course. Fridge around some greens are very wet, but fairways, bunkers, and greens play good. Will be playing there again....

What course lets the first group out be a fivesome and slow the day down to crawl? This course. Then to top it off the guys were rude and wouldn't let the three in my group through. We ended up skipping a hole.

The course is still fun to play but the course is not in great shape. Bare spots on fairways. Fringe and collections areas around the green were muddy. Greens were bumpy and almost impossible to hole anything further than 5 ft.

I’ve enjoyed my previous visits to Waterview but the course is not what it use to be. It’s sad because it really is a fun course to play.

Waterview has put a lot of money into course improvements. Greens are nice but are not fully established. Lots of water being used on greens which leads to a lot of mud and water around greens. If you haven’t played waterview before I would give it a shot.

Toughest and firmest greens I’ve ever played.. not only would they not hold a good approach shot from bouncing and rolling through the green, but chipping was impossible it didn’t matter what club you chipped with it was gonna roll out 15-20 feet and there’s nothing you can do about it. This was a last resort course for me and definitely still is.. I will say they finally got rid of the swampy fringes on every hole, so that’s a plus

For the price Waterview was in very good condition. The only downside would be that a couple of the areas around the greens were muddy, the greens themselves were healthy. It was disappointing that the range was closed for the morning of my round, but all in all I would recommend Waterview to anyone looking to play a nice course for a fair price.

If you keep it in the fairways, you can score. Get it off to the left or right in the trees and you will have trouble.

Starter is a very nice man. Greens are fast and in great shape. Around the greens sometimes is soggy so shots will not run on to the greens.

Only downside is they charge a 14 dollar fee if you don’t want to share a cart and ride alone. Otherwise a very good golf course and nice staff.

It had been at least a year and a half to two years since I last played this course and at that time it was starting to go a little downhill and the conditions were not good, but they have really improved the overall condition of this course. Kudos to the management team for that. I will be back again soon.

Usually really enjoy playing here. But not this time. Greens were uncharacteristically rough and bumpy. Booked a threesome hot deal online for a good price but upon arriving at the course was told the single rider would have to pay an extra cart fee to ride alone or ride with the single they added to our group’s whom you know nothing about (COVID-19). Individual in the club house was very rude when questioned about this and lacked communication skills in just explaining this. The single then also had to pay the extra cart fee. By hole 6 we had to call to get another cart sent out as it shut down. The individuals who brought out the cart then rudely questioned us why we had three carts before leaving us the cart. Then on hole 15 the cart conked out again and another cart had to be sent and we again were questioned about why we needed a third cart. I GUESS YOUR STAFF WAS HAVING A BAD DAY AND WANTED TO SHARE THAT WITH US. I sure hope that this is not the norm of how you deal with your golfers on a daily basis.

Good course, good price and good outing with friends.

Greens were still very hard with wet to soggy collars surrounding nearly every one. All else was in great shape.

When I bought a tee time in the afternoon for $20 I thought I’d be playing an average course, but to my surprise it was quite nice. I played the tips, which is probably why the tee boxes were so nice. The greens are rolling fairly true and they play pretty quick because they’re firm. Expect your ball to roll from long distances. Fairways were in good shape as well. I have no complaints with this course and the price! Highly recommend it to anyone. Enjoy!

Greens were way too sandy. Other than that, which was hard to overlook, the course was nice. Why soooo much sand on the greens? Chips wouldn’t grab and putts bounced all over the place. I still had fun though and the course was challenging and the staff was awesome. I’ll return once they stop building sand castles on the greens lol
