About
Rowlett’s first course has been laid out over a flat range of pasture, supplemented by 15 acres of lakes and over 1,000 new trees. Designed to be hacker friendly, the lack of mature trees provide an especially generous look and feel, tempting the mid-level handicapper to tee it up from the 7,191 yard tips and go long off the tee. Bent greens are the highlight of the round here–they roll true and provide solid opportunities to snake in a few long putts.
Getting there : Off of I-30 exit Dalrock Rd. and drive north through Hwy. 66. A half-mile past 66 veer left on Princeton, which dead-ends at Liberty Grove. Turn right into the Waterview division and take Waterview Pkwy. to the clubhouse

Great Course-Great Price
It’s been a while since I played Waterview Golf Course. I was very pleased with the course condition. Greens were in great shape and fairways were great! Price fit right in my budget.
Good Value
Would be worth $50-$60 if it weren’t for the amount of leaves across the rough, fairways, and even greens. Lost at least 3-4 balls because they were probably under one of the millions of leaves covering the course. Great course if you don’t mind the amount of leaves though
Cart were an issue
Course was in good shape and nice easy layout. Only issue I had is there was a golf cart shortage and tee time delayed 20 mins waiting for folks to complete their round to free up carts. Staff wasn’t too friendly or apologetic.
Pace of play
Pace of play was good timing and thank you for the promotion value.
Bumpy Greens
I always enjoy playing this course and will continue to play it. The greens have healed nicely since they were redone a while ago, but they’re a little bumpy. You can see from looking at the side they aren’t smooth. Maybe they need to be rolled, but some close putts are hard to make because the ball could move right or left even though it’s a straight putt.

The greens were recently sanded, but not punched.
They were very hard & fast.
Very BAD guy at pro shop
The guy at pro shop has terrible attitude. I have been playing golf for over 30 years and had never been seeing a guy at proshop so unfriendly like him.

greens in excellent shape. But will probally never return. Worst checkin experience ever. The guy was rude and very un pleasant. if i am paying my money to play i refuse to be treated that way!
Unfriendly staff
Not the best way to start a round to have to deal with grumpy staff.
Maybe he was having a bad day but shouldn’t take it out on customers.
The course was in good condition.
The fairways could use a little watering as the turf was drying up.
Greens were fast and hard.
Top tier public course
I’ve played most of the courses between Richardson North to Gunter. They’ve done a great job grooming this course. It has a great layout, undulation on greens, some elevation changes and really made it a fun round. Can’t wait to play again.
