Great value for the money! Played on early Saturday morning.

I always expect great conditions on this course. Greens were hard, but they rolled very true, as usual.
Fairways in decent shape, given the time of year. Here's the twist - new bunkers being built on a few holes, in very strategic locations. I hit my usual drives and ended up in three bunkers that weren't there a few weeks ago. Also, there's a new pond just left of #10 green. So, go too far right, you are in the trees, too far left, either in the pond or having the go over the pond and hit a very shallow green. Hit a 3 or 5 wood from the tee. You will be glad you did.

I'm from Michigan so kinda spoiled on really nice courses. Come down here to get away from old man winter. This course is a typical Texas course, everything is brown except greens and tees. Lots of wind, no trees and not much to look at. Played on a Saturday (bad idea when it's nice in Jan) 3 hours for the front nine alone. Played with a friend that is from Texas so he's use to conditions and not having a beautiful piece of property to appreciate. Way to many houses to look at 30 feet apart.

I use to live on this course and now live in Oklahoma. I still find myself wanting to play Waterview every time we are in the DFW area.

We were the first group behind a small tourney and the pace of play was incredibly slow on the front. It picked up on the back but not enough to make up for the front. Fairways were tight as expected for this time of the year. Some of the greens were in rough shape as the poauana has died off leaving potholes in the greens. The golf now deal was good for this course. We were given a free sandwich, chips, drink and a 16oz beer at the turn.

It's like $30 with cart. Free breakfast, free lunch, even got 2-16oz sams free. Add that up and the golfs free.
As for the course, every hole straight ahead, not much water and not much trouble to get into. Conditions were good. super fast greens. Great place for 20 handicappers.

Waterview was a fun challenge! The course was in very good condition with one exception - The #12 hole green was full of small weeds that make putting almost impossible. The course management was aware of the issue and they were in the process of hand pulling all of the weeds. This will probably be a "non-issue" in a few weeks. All of the other greens were immaculate!

The course is fun and challenging. Greens are showing the wear of a busy fall, but still pretty good shape.

This course is very well maintained especially for the prices you have to pay. Not many player either after 11.00. Greens are great.

Played in a 3-some on a hot Thursday afternoon. 2nd time to play this course. Flew around it this time as there was almost nobody out there.

Overall a fun place to play, nice conditions and one of the few public courses in the DFW area that still has bent grass greens. Greens were really nice, and would be even nicer if some of the numbskulls who play out there knew how to repair ball marks. Same with the sand, very nice, fluffy, and playable but full of footprints from doofusses that don't know what the rakes are for.

In summary, nice layout, very good conditions, nice staff....just need to get the players to do their part.

I paid $31 for 18 with a cart on a Saturday in the middle of summer through Golfnow. The course was in good condition and the greens were fast and challenging. It was nice to play a decently priced course in Texas with some water on it. I will be playing there again. Also, the guy working the pro shop register was named Buddy....awesome.

Bought a deal online and were pleasantly surprised to be offered the 50 plus senior rate, which was even more reasonable. Paired us with a third but we eventually split when groups began slowing and pace allowed. Course was well kept and greens were very nice. Pro shop staff was accommodating and pleasant. Mobile food price was a bit steep at ten dollars for a sandwich and soft drink. Overall we had a great time and look forward to a return engagement!

The course was in average condition with the greens being less than average. Has anyone ever heard of a divot repair tool, as these greens have rarely seen one. It is a nice layout, but the course could use some maintenance love. They have switched the nines with number ten now the first hole, however, the person in the pro shop forgot to mention this little bit of info. The lady in the restaurant was less than pleasant. Sorry if my Gatorade caused you too much stress for the day.

Play it enough now the staff are starting to recognize me! As all courses, holes playing into the wind are a challenge. The trees are now grown enough many will make you think if you miss the fairway. Still issues with golfers not repairing ball marks on the greens. I try to repair at least 2. Course is in great shape considering the drought. Marshalls do make frequent rounds. My only criticism would be I wish they would be proactive on pushing the slower players instead of having to be asked. I do love playing this course!

Played Waterview with a friend from the area. The course was in really good shape. Greens were well maintained and ran pretty straight.
The course is challenging, but not crazy hard. I'm a 8 handicap, and my friend is a 20, and we both enjoyed the course.
Staff was very friendly and the course super stopped by to see how we were enjoying the round! Don is a guy who cares about his course.

Best bank for your buck in dallas greens are true and fairways are much improved over last two years great to see this course getting better as year goes instead of worse..old #1 a little rough with new lines still not settled and a couple others but still well worth the cost

As a twosome one would expect to wait from time to time during the course of 18 holes. However, when the pro tells you there's no one in front or behind my expectations of a fast pace increase. I did expect to catch folks and maybe play through once or twice. However, it was clear that the slower groupings were simply oblivious after witnessing a player take 7 shots out of a bunker at the green while we waited in the fairway for 10 minutes. It is the first time I have ever skipped a hole. Very frustrating ...

This etiquette issue was also observed by player damage on the greens, lack of divot replacement, and messy sand traps.

It's a shame because one can tell that the course is fairly well kept overall.

Course was in really nice shape. Greens rolled very well. Will play again in the near future.

Course is in great condition tee to green, forgiving bit still challenging and fun, will definitly be playing again.
