Waterview Golf Club

My only complaint is that they had the front nine closed during aeration. The greens were in excellent condition.

I am a bit surprised at how much Waterview is charging. The course conditions have gone down but price goes up. I have been playing here for over a decade. Also, the staff could use some courtesy classes

This course has gone down hill. 2 stars because the greens are in good shape. Evidence of over played by people that do not fix divots. Fairways, Tees were spotty, uneven, hard packed, underwatered.

Players are considerate here. Passed groups, lets a couple singles pass us.

You can score well at this course.

Pretty nice course, tucked in a nice neighborhood in rowlett. Course is pretty straightforward. Decent fairways, decent greens. Practice amenities were pretty solid. Pace of play was pretty terrible. Over 5 hours for a weekend round. But unfortunately that’s most public courses in dfw on a weekend. They also made me pay $20 to have my fiancé ride along with me (she doesn’t play) which was a first and slightly annoying. Other than that no complaints. Cart girl came around 3 different times too which was nice.

Course was overall good. Greens were rolling nice.

All in all, an enjoyable round. The fairways could use some work. The greens were above average. Not enough ball washers. Not sure why this and every course in the country does not put the ball washers on the carts.

Greens roll well but are a bit firm. Got stuck behind a five some on the back, played the front in 1.5 hrs and took 2.5 for the back.

The course is starting to green up nicely - finally getting to that time of year when you can hit off grass again. My biggest compliment goes to the greenskeeper - all the greens were in magnificent shape! Made for a very enjoyable round!

Overall course is in pretty good shape coming out of winter. Greens are excellent. Tee boxes are aerated and/or sand boxes currently which would be only knock but course was fun and challenging greens

Fast greens in really good shape. Had the 2nd tee time of the day, but the group in front of us was really slow, and not asked to keep pace. They played in 4 hours 45 mins, with at least 2 holes open in front of them most of the morning. The course attendant didn’t try to speed them along. Not the courses fault, so much as the foursome…you’d think players wouldn’t make a 7:30 tee time and not try to play quickly. Oh well. Fairways just started to green up, couple weeks away from being in good condition.

Fun track - only downside was the lady working in the bar was not friendly at all and was lucky to have even received a 10% tip on my trip inside at the turn. Pace of play was bad on the first 9 holes two groups ahead of us could not get off the box so my group and the group in front of us were often waiting on the same tee box but the back 9 opened up a bit more of what you would expect on a Sunday.

Good greens and fairways. Tee boxes are being aerated right now, but other than that, it was good to go.
