Greens were fast but in good condition only problem was whoever did the mowing did a lousy job, all most all greens were were 3/4 mowed and pins were out on some of them, bunkers were a mess with the sand over the edges, the price was good through Golf Now but the price at $60.00 during season was over the top,for another $20.00 we could play a regular course, whoever decided the prices should be a shamed of themselves your course is not worth that price and whoever does he course maintenance should be fired.
Short
Fun course but I did expect something a little longer. Only one par 5 and mostly par 3's. Tee boxes were dry and sandy.
Any course would have been welcome after spending the winter in Michigan.
not happy
i book on line for 7 forgot about day light savings time
after sitting in my car for day light for 1 hr and 20 min
i was burnt out did 9 ask if i could do nine another day
the guy at desk was no rain check its not raining
thanks
Al of par threes
I didn't know this was an executive course from the golf now booking page. The pace of play was very good without marshals. The Pro Shop and cafeteria are old and small.
Good start for a vacation if you haven't played for awhile.
COURSE CONDITION
FAIRWAYS LACK GRASS, MANY SPOTS BARE.
GRENS, ON THIS DAY, WERE NOT TOO GOOD, DUE TO PLAYERS NOT FIXING THEIR BALL & SPIKES MARKS.
Nothing good about the course
The fairways and tee boxes were hard as a rock with no green grass at all. The greens were fair. Would not recommend to anyone.
Interesting layout
Too expensive for the value. Able to play in 3 hrs but too crowded for me.
Perfect for women & seniors
Extra par 3s make this nice course a low challenge, quick course to play. Par 4s & 5s are average played from the blue tees.
Good value
Greens have improved over past few seasons.A good executive type course.
Too pricey
A nice little course quite week kept but not worth the same price as a par 72
Excellent course, great value
great course! Excelent staff, very helpful And friendly!
Nice little par 62
I usually play from the gold tees. However, this course was short enough to play from the white. As a short hitting senior I found the course length to be perfect as it allowed me to have a chance to get on the greens in regulation.
I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who like shorter venues.
good and not so good
Fairly easy play, but poor quality grass and many bald sports.
Riviera Golf Club
Great course to work on your shorter irons. Greens are in great condition. Some tee boxes are less than desirable. Not too much trouble due to sand or water. Par 62 course.
Moderate course to begin your series of playing.
No help at bagage drop off by arriving. Pick your own cart and no driving facilitys. Greens in moderate condition.
price for an executive course
Got a great price on Golfnow but it's too expensive when compared to a full 18 hoe course.
Value and Logistics
It was a chilly start to a round playing in two sweaters and a coat. The sun broke through after an hour and the round ended wishing we had short sleeves.
This course is midway for everyone in our group so all are happy with the drive.
Course is is in fair shape with no groups head so pace was fast. Greens are slow, fairways in good condition.
We will be back.
Poor Fairways, elevated greens.
For what it is, Riviera is a fun course if you are looking for an old Florida course. One par 5, a few par 4's' and mostly par 3's. The greens were difficult, the tee boxes need work, the fairways were poor, but the course was fun.
No driving range is a real negative for those of us over 30. It took me 5 holes to warm up, and I only used a driver, 7 iron and a few wedges.
I will play there again.
