Cool day for golf
Staff very friendly. Greens were great and somewhat fast. I guess they do not mow on Sunday. Thank goodness. Played White tees 6100 yards. A bit long for me but very fair.
Nice restaurant and practice area. A great municipal golf course. I will return.

Beautiful grass but tough putting
Fairways are in great shape. Like the lawn in your well-maintained front yard. Greens are turtlenecks (Ross design) and tough to even 2 put successfully.
Decent pace of play. Don't let your ego get the best of you, move up a set of tees to really enjoy your round, especially if there is a prevailing breeze

Course in good condition, but some fairway and green had spots that needed attention. Probably a hot summer, but greens were true and smooth.

New Smyrna Golf Club
The NSGC is an old Donald Ross design that is now a muni. Pace of play was just under 4 hours. Bermuda fairways are in decent shape and bunkers are also. Donald Ross greens are overseeded for winter and really fast given the severe contours. I had about 40 putts and that is totally out of the norm. Four sets of tees with substantial yardage differences. The course is an excellent value.
