Herons Glen Golf & Country Club

The course was in excellent condition.. It was nice hitting off of fairways that have good grass, and the greens rolled relatively fast and true. There are tees for all levels of abilities, from shorter hitters to those who hit it long. It is very helpful and appreciated that there is not only a large putting green to warm up on, but complimentary range balls, as well. There is also complimentary water and ice which is very much needed during the summer. And the staff could not have been nicer. No GPS on the carts, but most golfers bring their own distance measuring devices nowadays. This is one of the best courses in the area.

The only problem I have playing in a reputable course is the attitude the members have, many of them, They act as if we are invading their property. Do not practice any etiquette and no respect for the rest of the players.

This is one of the better courses to play in the area. I’ve played several times and I’ll be back.

Beautifull huge green more easy for access we appreciate a lot we think that we are excellent golfer

Only drawback, No Beverage cart on the course, at least not on Sunday. And it was HOT!

Cart path only morning after the over night storms made for longs walks to the ball at tomes but we were lucky to have the rangers follow us around to make sure we didn’t drive on the fairways like we are 16 years old( 61,67,79). At first it almost felt like a privilege to have an audience but after awhile it got a little annoying. Doing their job I suppose.

Hadn’t played this course in a while and was looking forward to it It didn’t disappoint right from the start everything looked great greens Teres and fairways except for the lightning delay which I thought was nice it was a great time

It was beautiful course. I couldn't enjoy it as much because we paired with a couple smoking none stop.

We booked a tee time the night before for an 8:15 "shotgun start". Wasn't sure what to expect since it was our first time playing there. The only time we played a shotgun start was for a tournament. This was great! We started out on 3B and we were paired up with a member, he was so nice and explained the entire course to us along with facilities...thanks Duane!! We will be back for sure!!
