Good course in good condition,pleasure to play and pace of play was perfect

I've driven by Heron's Glen many a time and always wanted to play the course. This is a great development that has an active golf membership which makes it hard to get on during the season.

My only disappointment of the day was the fact that they had nobody working the bag drop and I had to unload my bag myself. There was also nobody around after the round at the bag drop either.

The course is in pristine condition. Great lies from the fairways and fast smooth greens. The course is not overly long but you can't just bomb it off the tee.

I played in a foursome that included two members. They were pleasant and helpful describing hazards off the tee that could not be seen.

Nice layout Greens fast but true. Fairways are in great shape. Water but does not come into play on most holes. Good challenge for most golfers Each Really enjoyed the course.

We opted to golf here because another course didn't have a good tee time.
From now on, this will be the course we choose first.
What an awesome afternoon. Pace of play was perfect. Greens in great shape. Fairways were perfect.
Every hole presented a challenge in its own right, but there were still lots of chances to score. Members were very friendly and helpful.
This our new favorite public course in Fort Myers.

I was very impressed with the course. Five tee boxes will allow a challenge for any level of player. Great conditions compared to most other courses played this season. The drive from so. Ft. Myers may appear too long from So ft. Myers but I guarantee this
Course is worth the drive. I do recommend better signage to next tee for visitors since it may take awhile to locate a tee box.

Course is a good value for under $ 60 dollars. Staff was friendly, and course was in good shape. Even though greens looked like they were punched, they performed well. Has a tee box for all levels, and conditions. We will definitely go back for the good value it represents.

Another review, said the drive from # 9 green to # 10 tee was long, he understated, it is REALLY long, as well from 17 to 18 tee.
Not such a big deal, but new players should know. ANOTHER hole on back, also was a long drive as well.

We were delayed for thirty minutes because they were out of carts. But once we got out there, the course was spectacular although not very well marked.

The course is great. They have some really neat holes. The only problem was the pace of play. It took us 5 hours to play and we never saw a ranger.

Course was nice, lots of water but not crazy hard. Plenty of Tees to chose from for varying level of players. Would gladly play again.

This was certainly the best course which we have played on our vacation. The course has numerous challenges. No hole resembles of the others. Also the maintanence was distinguished. We would play this course any time again.

This is a very good course with well maintained fairways and greens. Greens not too fast and run very true. Friendly and helpful staff

Although playing at a modest 6200 yards, the course is made more challenging and more interesting by water and traps on almost every hole. Placement of the ball for approach shots is critical.

Good course layout. A little hard to guage some shots without GPS or at least a map of holes. Be careful on finding the 10th hole....it is quite a drive from the front nine.

This course has many challenging holes. Even though it was very busy, and many seniors played in front of us, it was a great pleasure to play this wonderful course. The staff was very friendly, and we had a nice day.

Fun coarse to play. Wind can be a factor, water in play on several holes. Usually wide landing areas, when we were there (jan) freens were ok a little thin in places. Overall pretty good shape.

We had guests from out of town and had never played Herons Glen so decided to give it a try, so glad we did. Very friendly staff, course challenging and in very good condition. Felt welcome and the foursome had a great day of golf finished off by drinks in the outside pool area, just a totally enjoyable day.

With the snowbirds here at this time of the year, the course is very slow, but the fairways and greens are in excellent condition.

While course was pristine the greens were cut(or at) a 9 so pretty fast and the rest of the course did not mirror that diffucult of greens. Houses are somewhat close to course .

Good course, wel maintained.
