Played golf on a beautiful day on a gorgeous course in great condition

The course is a good layout with plenty of water. Challenging as its a little tighter and the greens are smaller than many other SW Florida courses, but not too long even from the back tees. The 4th hole is a par 3 to an island green over a large fountain..... one for the photo album if you make it. There are also several other interesting carries over water if you want to take the tiger line. Great condition as ever. There is a little driving around between greens and tees but it simply adds the charm of the venue. We have played here many times on visits from Scotland and the staff and members are always very welcoming and helpful. Great value for money and well worth a visit. It

may not be one of the big names but simply don't miss it if you are in the area.

Our experience at Herons Glen was really disappointing. We reserved a tee time and called the hotline several times that day, checking if the course would be open due to rain around noon. The hotline told us the course would be open, so we drove 45 min to the course only to find a note at the Pro shop that the course is in fact closed…. Tried contacting the course afterward - no reply.

Love playing this course. Not too difficult but some challenging holes. Fairways, tee boxes, and greens are all in great shape.i would definitely recommend this course.

Absolutely beautiful course. Incredible staff. Had an emergency and had to leave a quarter way through our game and the staff could not have been more accommodating. Went above and beyond. Course layout and overall experience deserves 12/10 rating. Will play this course again!

Any other course in the area charging this much simply does not have the right to do so. This course is pristine, and as soon as we got our first round of free ice towels, we knew we had found a new go to.

Beautiful course but no cart girl,no cups for water, ice machine was empty and the drinking water was warm. The restaurant was very good.

Herons Glen is always a great choice for anyone looking for great conditions and a first rate overall experience. Staff makes you feel like a member of a $100,000 year Country Club. Practice facilities are excellent. Course is in great shape.

Played Saturday afternoon at 2 pm. i cant say enough about the course and staff. The conditions were good (greens a tad sticky but not slow, and true), and was one of 3 or 4 groups on the entire course due to the 94 degree weather. i played at my typical pace and finished in 3 hrs. The course is very "sporty" and very enjoyable to play. I play to a 3 and had to hit some good shots to get in scoring position, while at the same time it didn't beat me up. The fairways were generous but not overly. I played the back tees and hit every shot in bag. It was a great round and course to work on your game and have some fun. Jimmy in the pro shop was awesome as well as the rangers. They really set the experience apart! Will definitely return.

The course was with lots of water. The conditions were excellent. The par three holes were very difficult.

Golf Course was in excellent shape Tee to Green! Staff were extremely friendly and the pace of play was never an issue. The Saturday 8:15am Shotgun is a lot of fun. It’s a must for those looking for a beautiful local place to play Golf!

I enjoyed playing at Herrons Glenn. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially since I was teeing off on #10 which was a mile away from the clubhouse and needed directions. Course in very good condition. The Rangers had cold towels for the players all round which was a nice touch and needed during summer play. I will be back.

Even at the busiest of times they keep things moving and I never seem to have a slow round. Great conditions as always but greens seemed really slow.. it's a fun layout with lots of great holes.
