This course is rough and you need a chiropractor after you play it.
Slow play. Greens difficult. Fairways - you need to move your balll to find green grass. They have cleaned some parts of it well. Will not play again.
NICE GREENS
THE COURSE WAS IN OVERALL GOOD CONDITION. I WOULD DEFINETELY GO BACK.
The course has a nice variety of dogleg holes.
The course is challenging while not being overly severe.
The routing of the course is fun. The greens were very smooth and quite plush from the overseeding.
Fun course
Good course but would be better if the greens were at least a average speed.
this course has come a long way
we like the new golf carts and gps 's the tee boxes need to be flatened out but besides that tee boxes, fairways and the greens are in great shape
GREENS
Course was in good condition and the greens were in excellent condition!
Could be a great couse with a little work
The greens were good to very good, putting at around 8-9 and were true. The fairways were fair to poor and the rough was poor to very poor. New GPS in all golf carts was very enjoyable. From whites the course plays to over 6400 yards, which was too long for me to reach any of the greens in regulation (66 years old) so I moved up one box but this one was too short at 5400 yards. A blend of the boxes would work well for something near 6000 yards
You've come along way, baby.
Decent shape. Decent length. Must be able to work the ball left to right and right to left off the tee. Mid iron approaches to small greens make for a good test of shot making skills. The greens were slow slow and very soft. Probably more about the weather than the maintenance.
Nice layout with some elevation changes. Rough around the edges but the new owners have made a lot of improvements to the course and the facilities and it only looks to get better.
Okay course needs some fine tuning
The course is definitely getting better with new gas carts and the greens overseeding came in nicely but they were really slow. The tee boxes are still crowned and need leveling. No ball washers on course so wet a towel before you start. No water hazards either. The tees need to give an option of about 6000yds which is what many seniors like. Asthetically speaking the course needs improvement but that is a design issue not an upkeep issue. All in all I enjoyed my day and will be back but way too many nicer courses in area to play this one too often. The price was great with the super saver rate payed just $13.
fun course
I always enjoy playing here because it is never so busy that you can't complete the course even when starting at 1 o'clock. The greens could use a little attention but for the money it is OK.
Nice layout, some holes long, greens inconstitent speed...
Like the course, most holes have no surprises; however,
some holes require knowing where to place the T shoot so to have reasionable second shot... Greens were over seeded and were mostly very slow; however some slower than others, this may be because it's winter conditions... Hard to find course without GPS help,,, Sand traps difficult to play, havent discovered how to get-out??? I will play again, Jim
The course needs watering of fairways & greens.
The greens are in rough shape. Some dark brown spots and seemed not cut in several days. I have seen broken waterlines leaking in the fairways. The course layout is not bad. The proshop people are great.
Course is improving but still needs work.
fairways are improving but still have a ways to go, greens are pretty fair and playable, tee boxes need attention.
Good course, great for driving, no water.
The course was in ok shape. They had just over seeded with rye which was coming in nicely. The greens were in great shape, small but not very difficult putting. The fairways could use some work but overall not bad. The staff was rather discourteous. We were playing at an average pace (4 hour round) and was told to hurry only to be held up on the next hole by a foursome that wouldn't let me and my partner play through.
Overall shape of course is average, but good value for money
The course is better than a year ago, especially the greens are getting better. Bunkers are filled with sand from different quality, that has to be changed. However the rate was cheap ($ 15) so it's good value for money.
a little long from the tees i normally play for this novice golfer but a good challange... need to keep ball in fairways...very well placed sand bunke
my wife and i are both bogey + golfers/ retired and playing at least once a week...this is one of the better maintained courses that we play....including fairways and greens.....will return to this course along with several others you provide cut prices in this area.......recommend highly even to other same type golfers we are.....shot an 83 and my wife shot 89 (this includes several toe wedges and one or two mulligans when we tried a different stance or grip........
