Interesting
The course needs a great deal of work - cart paths? weeds, bunkers overgrown in many places, greens not completely filled in.
Very inexpensive but so it should have been.
Pace of play - 2:20 front 9 then after the 12th no one on the course so back 9 was 1:25 - there was a four person match ahead of us and it ended on the 12th.
However, my wife and I had a beautiful day to play so enjoyed despite feeling that the course needed a lot of upkeep
Good but old
Course in good shape for being older. A few bare spots on the greens hope they fix that
ruff condition
surroundings are in need of a facelift, It is a great course if you are a hacker. Is not very busy. Price was right for $18 with cart
Course can test your talent.
Enjoyed playing here. friendly staff and the course was in very good condition
This course is wide open and easy to play
Nice course - not crowded - wide open - friendly staff
enjoyed the course
good and would play again soon found employees very nice
A good change.
This is a real "cow Pasture". The greens are in fair shape and fairways adequate. This is a wide open course that does not have water hazards on every hole.
This course has a nice layout and good length.
First time playing here. The condition of the course was ok , they had a lot of rain so they were behind in cutting. Great value.
Sad, the course is so neglected and just needs a lot of attention.
It is an older course but it is very poorly maintained.
worst course ive played...
First appearance when you pull up everything looks way out-dated. The cart that they gave me had a cover over the back which would've been handy due to the drizzling except for it holes torn all in it. The driving range looked like you were just out in some field hitting balls due to no maintenance at all. Then we got to the course itself, to say it was in rough shape is such a huge understatememt. You could not differ from the fairways and the rough and the greens were patchy and very soft. The ball would plug halfway into the green. If you did happen to find a mowed spot on the fairways it was mostly muddy. Even at ten dollars each it wasnt no where worth the money. But you live and learn.
Typical tree lined Florida Municipal style course.
7:30 tee time. Tree lined municipal course. Rough around edges. Fairways carpeted but roughs sparse. Greens medium paced. Fun course. Carts w/ windshields & rain covers in back. Will play again if in area.
Has improved
The course was in better shape then the last time I played. Fairways and greens were good. The tee boxes could use a little work and the rough was just that, "rough" to play from. The sand traps were also very hard and only soft on the surface. I am also not a fan of gas golf carts and the one we had mad a very loud noise every time we hit the gas. All in all, for 18 dollars it was worth it and very playable compared to other courses in that price range. The weather was perfect and we had a great time.
Bunkers
The course was very scruffy!!!!!! Needs a lot of attention, the only thing green on this course and the very narrow fairways and the greens. Probably very scruffy due to no watering at all besides greens.
Course is challenging due to many bunkers protecting very very small greens all over the course.
Ground seriously hard due to no watering.
old course
This course was like many other courses we've played since we arrived here. The greens are very small but in good shape. The fairways are green and okay. The rough was all I can say is ROUGH.Overall it was okay and we may play there again.
Once The Premere Daytona Golf Course
Once the place to play in Daytona, today it shows some age but still a course with challenge and character... Greens are as good as any I have played recently and better than some. The fact that the course is for sale doesn't slap you in the face as I have experienced at other CC's. Easy to get to, not to crowded, conditions on a par with many courses in the Daytona area. Not a lot of water which keeps the ball count down, lol, really a nice place to relax and enjoy a round...
Great value
Nice course and a great value! Play was really slow but it was a nice day.
Nice design, challenging layout, small greens
Old traditional course in a housing development. Fairways in good condition. Lots of sets of tees for varying abilities. Greens not fully taken with overseeding yet but putted reasonably well. Tees often crowned and need levelling. Greens are small and raised which presents a challenge, most can be reached by rolling onto though. I liked the fast pace of play -3.5 hours for 4.
Nice course Conditions have improved somewhat since I last played it.
I like Tomoka Oaks. It is a good course for players with high handicaps. My playing partner wants to return with his wife since he thinks she would like the layout. The greens were a bit tricky since they needed a bit more work.
Greens need attention
Course conditions could be better. Very friendly staff. Good pace of play. Two greens were unputtable, most were just okay. Great breakfast special in the restaurant.
