About
Neighbor to the beautiful Ravine State Gardens, Palatka Golf Club offers a game that is as scenic as it is entertaining. Designed by Donald Ross in 1925, the golf course was created with all skill levels of golfers in mind. The layout is player friendly, but there are still many challenging elements to keep golfers on their toes, including Ross' signature "turtleback" greens. There are also numerous bunkers fiercely guarding the greens. The signature hole of the course is the par-3 third. This 188-yard hole is a test of accuracy, requiring a difficult tee shot to a well bunkered green. Palatka Golf Club also offers a unique aqua driving range for golfers to use.

First Time
Used GOLFNOW to book the hot deal tee time of 9:47. I live in The Villages and it took me roughly one and half hours to get there. Nice drive. Easy getting cart and started early. Fairways & Greens in good shape. Tee boxes & Paths need work. Do not let the distance fool you. Always scope out where you are hitting to otherwise you may not like where your shot will end up
Great place to play
We always enjoying playing at the Palatka course. We ate in the dining room for the first time today and it was a very good experience. The only down side is the out door rest rooms. They are not kept clean and they are in disrepair.
Perfection
This may be one of the finest golf courses around the Magic Kingdom! The conditions are absolutely perfect. The staff couldn’t be any nicer. The pace of play is stellar. And the layout is fantastic. This may be my favorite course in Orlando and worth the money
Golf the way it used to be.
In the 1920s, when Donald Ross designed this little course, it was probably a really nice place to play. It still is, but it’s glory days are long gone. Amenities, have suffered. The cart paths and rough are in bad shape. Some of the tee boxes are a little stressed, particularly if you play other than from the whites. That said, the greens and fairways are in pretty good shape. The staff were friendly and cordial. If you can hit a postage stamp sized green with a wedge, you can score here, because the fairways are generally pretty welcoming. Good value for the money. Target golf.

Awesome Old School Layout
Great Value, greens a little on the slow side, but beautiful old school layout.. try to play here a few times a month.. great challenge for less that 6000yrds.
Bad Management
These robbers charged each of my friends an extra $20 to play today in the time of Covid.
How low can you go.
Fun course
This course is so much fun I just love playing here some challenging holes with small greens but always a great time
