About
Neighbor to the beautiful Ravine State Gardens, Palatka Golf Club offers a game that is as scenic as it is entertaining. Designed by Donald Ross in 1925, the golf course was created with all skill levels of golfers in mind. The layout is player friendly, but there are still many challenging elements to keep golfers on their toes, including Ross' signature "turtleback" greens. There are also numerous bunkers fiercely guarding the greens. The signature hole of the course is the par-3 third. This 188-yard hole is a test of accuracy, requiring a difficult tee shot to a well bunkered green. Palatka Golf Club also offers a unique aqua driving range for golfers to use.

Golfer Reviews
Pleasant Day
Course in very good condition for this time of year. Greens firm and true. Each year we come back in better condition
Nice Course
Nice traditional golf course. Relatively small, interesting greens, some tightness along the way. Over seeding makes for great lies in the fairways. I’ll be back.
Nice course
Wide open fairways; small undulating greens make it fun and challenging!
Good quick round
Arrived to find a large group of "locals" on the first tee and the pro immediately took us aside to discuss possibly starting on the back 9 since we were playing as a twosome. Awesome move on his part. Played the back 9 without running into another group and found the same at the turn. A very enjoyable round. Course in great shape although greens were a tad on the slow side due to overseedng. Putts ran true but just had to put a little extra pace on them. Staff was friendly. Will play again!
Donald Ross Course at its best
Greens were firm and true. Fairways were well maintained. Played in 3 1/2 hrs. Other golfers friendly. Enjoyable day
Great experience. Will play again.
Fun Donald Ross classic at a great price. Friendly staff and well kelp municipal course. Challenging layout with a variety of holes. Some hills. Will play again when I’m down intone area.
Fun course, but
The course was very nice, fairways and greens were in great shape! But the pace of play was outrageously slow. Waited on every tee box. It would have been great if they have a marshall on the course helping with slow play. Besides that the course was great.
Great little course!
This is a great old school links course that I enjoy. The turtle back greens are a challenge and very slow. I wish they would keep the greens mowed a little better.
Still a fun course to play.
Nice Donald Ross track
Third time playing this course and the conditions were good. Greens are slow but in great shape. Do not let the overall yardage fool you. The small greens will test you and your iron accuracy to be precise. For an old Donald Ross design, it is worth the drive to enjoy a nice older layout that looks like has not changed much since 1925.
Excellent play for price!
Both the fairways and greens in great shape. Course in kind of compressed but still enjoyable to play.
