Best municipal ever!!
This course is fun, challenging, pristine and gorgeous. By far the best municipal I’ve ever played on. There is not one single negative thing about this course. It’s in tip top shape from the tees to the greens. They actually have GPS on the carts which was extremely helpful with my shot selection. The greens roll true and are not grainy so there’s not a lot of break in them. The starter started us on the 10th tee which helped tremendously with the pace of play. The value for the course it’s outstanding at $63 a round. You can pay in the hundreds for this quality course anywhere else.
Great conditions and pace of play
The course is in excellent condition and the pace of play is timed perfectly. A good value and when the new clubhouse opens will have better amenities.

Confused
Made a tee time the day before. The next morning went back on line to check conditions, noticed the rate went to $30/$35.00 for all remaining tee times. I mentioned this when I checked in and the person at the counter told me "they do that there's nothing I can do". If I wasn't on a time restriction I would have canceled and rebook. I love this course, playing it for 8 years.
Decent Course, Unfriendly Staff
We paid for a Foursome and had one run late. Starter insisted he pace a fourth with us "because he had no openings for the single for over an hour". There was a twosome behind us, 2 behind them, and 3 behind them. Starter lied. When we finished the Cart/bag person gave us hard time for having 3 carts in our foursome when this is how the Starter set us up. Rude people that took much of the enjoyment out of our round. This course is not a bargain and the staff needs manners.
Beautiful Golf Course
Excellent value when the course is dry. Building and construction is currently going on for a new club house.
We played and it was cart path only . Seemed like this course, on preserve lands, does not have proper drainage.

Thank you for the great comments! Nature has not been good to us this October with the rain. Staff is working hard to keep ahead of the next drop!

Very Nice Course if you like a Little Water
While the course is not all that long, there are some fairly significant tee shots over water. The front nine has water on most of the holes. There are a couple interesting double dogleg holes - one on the front nine and one on the back. The course was in really nice shape. The greens played true but were not very fast. The fairways are reasonably wide and forgiving. The staff was super friendly. Although the pro shop is in a trailer, you can see that they are building what looks to be a very nice clubhouse. As a result, you had to find your way around some construction. We will definitely play here again the next time we are in the area.
Best public course
This is one of the best public course i've played in, course layout is awsmome greens are great
no fore warning for aerated greens - aerated 8/14/17
nothing i hate more than being excited to play a course thats outside your normal rotation, pay full price, prime time saturday 8am, and walk up to the putting green to see freshly plugged, sandy greens. no mention on website of plugged greens, no mention in the proshop. someone did notice my disdain for this and offered me a raincheck which was courtestous once he realized no one told me ahead of time.
besides the fact of being very salty about the aerated greens, course was in amazon condition. will be back to play it with recovered greens. building a crazy new clubhouse which looks to be a fantastic structure!

how can you not mention they were aerated on monday 8/14, 2 days before you stated you played? i read your review yesterday and played there this morning and was so annoyed when i arrived to aerated, sandy greens!! thumbs down review!
