Great Course!
I love playing at this course. Especially in the summer because the rates are so low. If you can sweat it out, definitely check this course. It's a great course to play at and the staff are very nice.
really amazing greens and fairways!
The people at the counter couldn't be more friendly! Great way to start a round. the greens have obviously been groomed quite nicely! Kudos to the super and his crew. Keep up those standards Mr. Munson!! Had a great time. You will like it here.
Greens and fairways
super fast and true greens! Fairways are in good shape. tees were just aerated but playable! The Superintendant has really put some love into the course!! lots of fun!
People/Staff outshine course
Staff was very friendly and pleasant. They were the best part of the round. Course had several tee boxes closed which made it short.
Sandhill Crane (known by locals as Gardens Golf Club)
Since Superintendent Patrick Munson took over the Fairways of Gardens Golf Club - now known as Sandhill Crane, the routing about as far West as you can go in West Palm Beach has become one of the finest public venues in the nation's most Golf abundant COUNTY.
Firm and fast surfaces wind thru dense sections of native Slash Pine and scrub Palmetto. Management seems to hold its price point to a standard that really doesn't meet the pulse of their clientele, however if you find a deal on golfnow or another site go ahead and purchase. You will be happy you did...

Sandhill Crane on a Windy Day
My wife and I are bogey golfers and played Sandhill Crane for the first time on a windy humid day. We started on the back 9 and found it to be challenging with dog legs and rough areas. The front 9 had more water to maneuver around. Enjoyed the challenge but the wind added to the level of difficulty.
Great Course!!!
One of the best courses out there. Great condition and the price is really good. Highly recommended to anyone.
Great Track
Course is in awesome shape, and very scenic. Staff was very friendly. They're in the process of building an amazing clubhouse so don't be alarmed with a trailer as a pro shop. We teed off at 12:40 and played in 3 hrs and 40 mins. Only negative was the group in front was very slow and fhe group behind kept pushing us. Would definitely play here again when we come back to FL
Nice Track
Nice track, played on a Saturday and appreciated marshall moving a very slow group ahead a hole to keep place of play going. Still took 5 hours, but could have been worse. Saw a few gators in the protected habitat as well. Would play again but will stick to weekdays for faster play.
sandhii crane
Course in great shape. Very good layout and fun to play. Good value. Alligators and cranes are added attractions!
Fine course
Very nice conditioned and layout. Best in area for value.
Avoid on a rainy day
I love this course but it was cart path only and they really weren't that wet through most of our round. We had one payer who needed the handicap privileges but weren't allowed. It was a disappointing round.
Nice course, starter needs to space the groups, 18 holes took 5hrs. 15 min.
there are many better values in the area
we paid $42.00 to play in the afternoon 4 pm. We were sent off the back and we were told that all carts would be called back at 7 20 pm. The first 5 holes went pretty smooth but things got terribly backed up when we reached our 6th hole( hole 15 ) probably because they put 9 holes in a space that should have only had 6 holes. The worst part of the round came on our second 9. There was no one in front of us so we were able to make up the lost time as we were a twosome. When we reached our 18th hole ( # 9 ) at 7 PM a message came on the GPS screen that said something the the effect of Asset Protection until 5 AM and the cart shut down. we called the clubhouse and the gentleman working in the clubhouse said he never heard of that and said we must be too close to the green. I told him that we were on the cart path right next to the tee box. He said they would send someone out. Ten minutes later we were still there and no one ever came for us or the cart, we dragged our clubs and gear off the cart and finished our last hole walking.
Too slow
Pace of play is issue
So slow had to abandon round at 14
No staff concern about it
I'll go back In summer when it's empty
We are concerned about the slow play you experienced. It is season and our course has attracted a lot of interest, but we want each patron to have an exceptional experience. Please email me directly at cpresensky@pbgfl.com with your name, day and time of play and I will be happy to issue you a raincheck. Charlotte/Director
Oh no, the humanity! You had to walk one hole?
Hope you asked for a full refund.
