This Par 72, Roy Case designed course is truly a "walk in the gardens". The peace and quiet is interrupted only by the sounds of nature. Southern pines, palm trees frame the course giving you breathtaking views and quality golf, while still being affordable!

Challenging layout
Haven't played this track in the past couple of years, but I was pleased with the improvement to the fairways and greens were excellent and rolled true. The new Clubhouse is currently under construction, so there is really no 19th hole facility. Otherwise the round was playing 4hrs and 15 mins. Staff were friendly and courteous.
Unbelievable Greens
Pace of play was slow, due to the number of people on the course. Conditions were excellent, greens rolled as true as i've seen anywhere in the area. Highly recommend playing this short but challenging layout. Shout out to John E. for keeping things moving.
To long only 9hole in 3 h
They charge on tee time and we only play 9 hole in 3 h it is crazy., so at the end you ate not enjoying and you do not play well , guys that was playing with us left after 4 holes , second time in three days deseapointed
Course in great shape
I'll be joining this course next season. The course conditions are really good. Fairways are lush. Greens are beautiful. Bunkers are full of soft sand. Some of the holes are a little weird, but I understand they will change. Great value. We teed off at 8, finished 11:50 on a Saturday in high season.
Don't miss this one
A very pleasant surprise. The staff was professional start to finish. The course was in excellent condition. There was nothing cookie cutter about this layout. Many interesting and challenging holes. The carts are outfitted with GPS and are very accurate. The course was full at 8:00 AM and we still finished in four hours. Highly recommend this course and will be back.
Florida seasonal golf
The pace of play was awful. No visible rangers. I stopped after 16. It is a nice public course.
Would recommend with reservation.
New clubhouse is being constructed, currently operating out of trailers. Course was in good shape. There are a series on holes on the back nine which feel very squeezed in, as if they ran out of room. It definitely detracts from the whole experience. Course would be a good value around $50.
Local Golf Course
Playing at Sandhill Golf Course was a pleasant way to spend part of a day. E staff was friendly and helpful. They are in the process of building a new club house so the facilities included a food truck and a clean trailer of bathrooms. The course itself is somewhat short but it has some challenging holes. It is in good shape. One fun thing...the driving range consists of a pond into which you hit your balls.
Not very good
Tee times are 7 minutes apart which caused massive slowdowns on the course. We played the back nine first(I don't know why) and it took 3 hours! No ranger in sight the entire time. No beverage cart. Two spots are VERY dangerous due to the closeness of tees and greens. Back nine was a little better, took about two and a half hours. Overall, not much fun. Course layout is good in spots but way too close for safety.
This course has potential
I like the golf course and the staff is friendly and I'm looking forward to the pending enhancements.

The greens were country club quality on a public course. We played for the 1st time and it was a true gem that we will be frequenting again.
A Round of Golf in a beautiful natural environment
Sand Hill Crane GC is a wonderful course set in natural surroundings and will offer you a pleasant round of golf.
We picked a perfect day weather-wise. No wind. The course has some challenging water holes to keep you alert. The elevated greens were in good shape and sizable.
There is an abundance of wildlife if you take the time to look. Golfers are not allowed in preserve areas and the course is kept in great condition.
Staff was efficient and friendly. An active facility with lots going on all the time. Definitely worth the trip to play.
A great track...
Perfect conditions. Tee boxes were well-maintained. Cart GPS units are always very helpful. Greens were PERFECT.
If you are a 12-handicap (or lower), you need to play from the blues (it's way too short from the whites).
Gators all over the place. Enjoy them and don't go looking for your ball!!

Fantastic lay out.
A fantastic golf course. The greens are in excellent condition, beautiful and fast. The staff is very interested in having a good day. Only one point disturbing, the pace of the play was very slow ... we waited for every shot to play! But overall a lot of positive.
