Sandhill Crane Golf Club - Championship Golf Course

Greens were faster than most public facilities. Fairways were cut very short w/tight lies. I prefer fairway grass a little longer.

The best club I have played in Palm Beach area. Very well maintained greens, narrow fairways, but not much water in play (eventhough there are a lot of ponds, lakes, alligators and big birds). If you are less than 20hdc try from the farthest tees. We had a lot of wind (post Matthew hurricane) and it was sometimes difficult to find the right club. The cart GPS help us a lot.

We Finished the round in less than 4 hours and had a great time with my son. Staff is very helpful and friendly. I will psurely lay again if I returned to this area.

This course is a true gem. Great layout ! The course isn't extremely long but it is challenging. Fairways are s little on the tight side. The greens were in great shape and rolled true. This is by far the best value I have gotten through GolfNow. I have found my new favorite course !!!

Absolutely Beautiful & amazing. Beautiful course, layout, Greens, & fairways. A couple of holes where you have to leave your driver in the bag, some holes are narrow making it a little challenging, overall a great course at a great. Great job Palm Beach gardens & Sandhill Crane. I definitely recommend 100% Careful on the 18th or any holes with water. we had a 12" Gator Sunbathing on cart path, where we had to wait for him to move at his leisure.

What more could you ask for? Corse in good shape, greens fast and rolling true, staff was friendly .

Water hazard carries force me to play a shorter set of tees than I would like. Course is in decent shape. Plenty of wildlife around; watch out for gators! May lose a few balls here. Carts have GPS. Pro shop in trailer. Driving range has floaters you hit into water.

Short course in good condition. The greens were very good and ran true. The staff was friendly and accommodating. There are mobile trailers for the club house and restrooms. The word is, that a new club house will be built in a year or so. There are alligators on the course, so no ball hawking near the water hazards. Good course for the money..

Have not played this course for a few years. The new owners have done a great job bringing the course back. The greens were in great shape and ran very true. There is a decent amount of water and we saw at least 5 gators.

Great course, only negative was the cart computer was programmed for a different course.

Nice golf course with a good test of shot making abilities. If this is your first time playing here, keep your driver n the bag on all the short holes, most of all, the doglegs, on both front and back. Good test, but you better have your GPS or laser with you if you expect to shoot a good score.

Short course from the back tees, only 6400 yards, 4 sets of tees, making it as short as you want to play, I shot 70 , platime, it for the first time. So I really enjoyed it

a bunch of us were visiting from Boston and we chose this course based solely on the previous golfnow reviews...that turned out to be an excellent choice! we ended up playing 36. nice course, great staff, looking forward to playing it again!

J'ai déjà joué ce terrain sous le nom "Palm Beach Gardens". Chacun des trous offrent un défi intéressant. J'ai joué sur les jalons blancs pour obtenir une longueur d'environ +/- 5300 verges. Car pour les dames les rouges éliminent beaucoup de difficultés.
Chacun des trous a son charme et surtout les torus sont isolés les uns des autres, donc pas de va et vient d'un parcours à l'autre.

Terrain intéressant avec ses alligators près des lacs, un peu détrempé avec toute la pluie reçu , seul point négatif, le pro shop et restauration sont dans des roulottes.

This course gets my #1 most improved course award. I last played there 3 years ago and it rated a solid "ok". Interesting layout and wildlife, but the conditions and staff we just ok. Well, I found that they apparently made some major moves and the place is really great now. Course conditions are excellent, the carts now have sophisticated GPS and the staff we very nice. The starter gave me some great advice and was a really friendly guy. They even planted some people out on the course to check on us and have some nice conversation. If I were hitting my driver better that morning it would have been a perfect round ;)

Nice location, no house around. good maintenance, a lot of birds and aligators, very interesting.

Great course for any level of play. Fairways well maintained, greens roll fast and true, great course layout and challenging. Each shot counts but not so crazy that it gets frustrating. Staff is #1 and I play here 2-3 times a month. Fair price even on season. I recommend it to anyone looking for a good course at a reasonable price that is well conditioned and a staff that cares. The GPS on the carts is an added bonus. Do mind that their club house is being rebuilt from the ground up but even with that their food and beverage offerings are just fine for this course. F&B cart comes around often and offers a large variety of items including liquor, beer, wine, cigars, and food offerings. Looking forward to another great year with them!!!

The layout is what makes this course worth playing. It offers much more varied challenges than the majority of South Florida courses.
Fairways were good but not a lot of give. Divots could be jarring in spots. Greens were very hard and unreceptive.
It needs work yet but if the fairways and greens are softened up it could become exceptional.
No clubhouse. They're working out of trailers and will be for a while. But I don't go to courses for their clubhouses anyway.
Most of the staff was great but the cart girl wanted to blow off my female friend who was trying to give her our beverage order because she wanted to talk to my buddy and I. Guess she figured the men were where the tip money was. Well, she blew that one. Everyone else was great.
