Course is a gem
Greens are the best in palm beach county. Smooth, and run about a 10.5-11 on the stimp. The fairways are great, and the bunkers are well maintained. Course has GPS carts, and great practice facilities.
Pleasenty Surprised!
Great little course away from all. Visiting the area and I wasn't expecting much but it kept a smile on my face the hole round
Greens
They are the best greens we have played todate. Alot of work is being done and the course can only get better still
Perfect Golf Getaway
This course was a pleasant surprise, for the money this is an EXCELLENT course. GPS on the carts, friendly staff, and fun but challenging course, I will play here every week!
I managed to play the front nine 3 over par, I struggled more on the back nine with tighter fairways, and interesting dog legs. I finished 11 over par which matches my handicap (from the Championship tees). I dont usually play the back tees, but because this is a shorter course, i took the challenge on. The greens roll a little slow, but are very true.
If you are in the area, this course is a must play, and the new clubhouse should be finished very soon. Next time I am in Palm beach Gardens, I will be hitting that course again.
walk with nature
excellent course that weaves itself back and forth in a configuration of holes that is close together but faraway at the same time. Lots of wild life, don't stick your hand in the water.
Beautiful Environment
One of the prettiest courses I've played down here as it is set in such a beautiful natural setting. Very well kept and many interesting holes. If you like nature you will notice many unusual plants and flowers. Worth the trip and money just to see the environment.
Excellent layout
This course is quite challenging and in great condition. Staff very friendly. Nice practice facilities also.
Conditions beat most ritzy private clubs!!!
I played after three consecutive days of hard rains in the area and the course had to be "cart path only" mostly because of the rough between the paths and fairways. The fairways and greens were SUPERB! Firm and smooth. Like putting on a pool table (although I've never done that!). Very interesting layout with a lot of challenging shots that will make you think. The back nine is unique in that it has 3 each par 3's, 4's and 5's. Only about 6,500 yards from the tips and 6,000 from the next set up but you'd better look at the hole diagram on each hole to see how to plan your shots. Pro shop staff were very friendly! Cannot say enough good things about the municipal courses in the Palm Beach area for design quality and course conditions, but this one was the BEST I got to play.
one of my favorite
like playing this course,it has 5 tee boxes. a different one to fit any type of player
Excellent condition
Had great time. Everyone very friendly and courteous. Will return to play again.
Almost don't want to tell anyone
This is a hidden gem. Perfectly groomed course with incredible scenary and nature. Watch out for the alligators!
This is my new favorite course in Florida.
Great course
Let me first start out by saying I am a Palm Beach Gardens resident and frequently play this course along with other public courses in the area. This is a pretty challenging course with many holes that don't work well with a driver.
I don't have any qualms about the conditions of the course. It's one of my favorites in the area. There are a few downsides which tend to be very annoying. If there is any rain at all, this place goes cart path only. I'm talkin sun showers, or just light rain and these guys immediately do cart path only Which makes the pace of play very slow. There are definitely your fair share of elderly guys out there who definitely don't help the pace. The most annoying part about this course is the staff. Most are great guys but there are a few who are just generally unhappy people and they aren't afraid to show it. I usually play on weekdays in the morning and usually have no issues getting out by myself which I prefer. Good luck doing that here, it just doesn't happen. Other than the lack of friendliness of some of the staff members and the frequency of cart path only rules this is an incredible course for the price.
Beautiful course in natural setting
I am a (very) senior layer and hit from the senior tees. There are plenty of water hazards, but forward tees reduced the challenge. Bring extra balls. Course was in excellant condition.
Keep your eyes open
Fun 18eighting holes green lush play before Snow birds come down
Nice course, but not as nice as I expected.
I read that the course had recently been renovated and renamed. The course conditions were not at level that I would have expected for a recently renovated course. Tee boxes were a bit beat up and greens had recently been aerated, so they did not roll true. The on course marshal interrupted us rudely several times indicating that we were behind pace, but we were consistently right behind the group ahead of us. The GPS system on the carts, also stated that we were on time within a minute or two throughout the round. We were told not to rely on that information? The marshal was not friendly and was distracting. I am all for keeping up with pace of play, but it is not the fault of the golfer when the course books tee times every 7 minutes. 7 minutes is too close for amateur golfers (which most of us are) to keep perfect pace. This is particularly true for a group of 4.
Your comments and concerns are noted so that we may improve every day at our service. As with all courses, we have been conducting aggressive turf maintenance to prepare the season. I apologize that this did not meet your standards. Please email me at cpresensky@pbgfl.com with the date and time of your round and I would be happy to correct the experience.
Nature lovers course.
I love the layout, the natural environment, the wildlife and the old Florida feel of this course. I wish I could convince my friends to make the drive out there more often. It's definitely worth it.
Thank you for the great comments. Our club is a unique property carved out of the Loxahatchee Slew. The drive into nature leaves the impression of out west but the reality is that we are only 9 miles west of the Intracoastal! Come back and visit soon.

Beautiful but humid
The morning I played it was extremely humid which made playing very difficult. Everything was wet: your hands, the towel to dry them off, and the grips of the clubs. This made controlling the club more difficult. The course is beautiful though, probably one of the best public courses in Palm Beach County.
Great Municipal
Really enjoyed the course! Course was in very good condition! Will definitely come back when we are back down!
Great course
Loved this course. Greens were challenging, course is well maintained. Can't wait to play this course again.
Great courses
Loved it, one of the best I've played everything was in great condition the staff were nice. I would like to see some more hot deals to make it more affordable.
Thank you for the wonderful comments. The Gardens staff work hard each day to provide a great golf experience. Great tip about the alligators! Come back soon!
