Palm Harbor Golf Club
About
Palm Harbor's narrow, bending fairways are lined with towering palms, oaks and pines. Combine this with elevated greens and you have a course that demands accurate shots. The creativity in the design is the use of large bunkers. This course is more accessible for golfers of all handicaps and abilities, and easier to manage.
Play this course as a warm-up, work on your accuracy and iron play.

Never disappoints
Weather was misty to start at 1 pm after light rain off and on all morning. It was cart path only but we still finished in about 4 hours (as a foursome).
The course held up pretty well and the greens were a little slow, but the fairways were really nice and the traps in great shape, considering the rain.
Overall this a great course with interesting holes. It is often a little pricey for my Friday group from Daytona but this price was a real gift.
Hidden Gem
Played for 1st time. Great conditions for winter. Greens, fairways and tee boxes were all in good shape. Not pricey. Great layout. Shot makers course but still opportunities to use driver.
GOLF AT ITS BEST
GREAT COURSE GREAT CONDITIONS AND NICE LAYOUT YOU WILL LOVE PLAYING THIS GEM TRUST ME ITS WORTH GOING THERE
Fun times on a challenging municipal course
While Looking for a course near St Augustine, I came across this listing. It’s about 40 minutes south and well worth the drive (the coastal route is more scenic so I recommend that too)
As far as the golf course goes the course is quite challenging on a windy day like we had. Some of the holes remind me of the look of Harbor Town on Hilton Head with the Spanish moss hanging from the oaks lining the fairways. And some approaches were over those trees if you ended up on wrong side of fairway. Green speed was quite variable probably due to it being winter conditions. There is full service dining in the clubhouse which was busy on an NFL Sunday with several games on the screens.
Overall it’s a great find and should be on your list in the First Coast area.
Wish the greens were better.
The greens have always been slow here, but have noticed that they have 2 types of grasses growing on them over the last year or so and they grow at different rates, so later in the day the greens get weird as part of the greens have grown more and become shaggy while other parts are quicker and more smooth.
This is one of my favorite spots to play so hope they figure something out.
It is a great, great layout. The restaurant is good and everyone is friendly, so I will be back, but just be a bit more hesitant.
So so day at PH today
Play was unusually slow. The 3 some in front of us had the whole course backed up for no reason and they didn't care. We finally jumped in front of them on 10 and never saw another golfer all day thru 18. No ranger to speed them up so no option for us but to jump ahead of the slowpokes. You never know who's going to be in front of you. Usually no problem but today it was and we had to wait on every shot on every hole until we blasted them. Frustrating day in the rain.
Good course
Course is in great shape. Greens a a little slow but smooth.
Better
Course has gotten since cooler weather and recent rains
Nice layout
The course is in great shape. The fairways were firm, the bunkers had a good amount of sand, and the water hazards were avoidable, if you know they are there.
Fun Day!
Course was great! Staff super kind and helpful.
We love the course layout..
Highly recommend!
great course
1st time this year. Great shape. Greens a little slow.
