About
Palm Harbor's narrow, bending fairways are lined with towering palms, oaks and pines. Combine this with elevated greens and you have a course that demands accurate shots. The creativity in the design is the use of large bunkers. This course is more accessible for golfers of all handicaps and abilities, and easier to manage.
Play this course as a warm-up, work on your accuracy and iron play.

It's a city-owned course
They book through GolfNow. But it doesn’t work through their website on an iPhone. I had to go to GolfNow’s site. Friendly greeters. Pro shop guy was serious and didn’t explain the water situation (no water on the course – get ice and a cup from the pro shop and pour from pitchers in the restaurant). Driving range had good grass. Putting green was in the same condition as course greens. Needs a few more signs to guide people. Design not bad. Conditions from tee boxes to greens was what I might have expected from a city-owned course. They had aerated the greens a week before. They obviously didn’t roll them. And each green had about a dozen patches of crabgrass. They should have had a guy spend an hour pulling those when they aerated. I suppose they don’t have the money to use pre-emergent. The price for this was about right. By the way, GolfNow said I could owe $38.52 at the pro shop. But I was only charged $25.
Beautiful layout
Other than the greens being a little slow to my liking, a wonderful muni course. Little water, fair amount of sand and just a fun course to play. Not extremely long but extremely fun. Also a very popular restaurant in the community.
Played 14 holes in 4.5 hrs had to leave to meet my wife and friends for dinner. No ranger ever seen on course incredibly slow pace that got slower when starter let a three some start on 10 as we made the turn.
Aerated Greens
We knew that the greens were being aerated and that was great that they had notified us the week before! All course should do that!

With all the play this course gets it was in great shape! Hate to see them start aerateing next week. It means the course will be a mess the next few weeks.

Greens were being aerated which was pretty bad but everything else was immaculate.

Very good conditions although the greens needed to be mowed, they were extremely slow! Will effeminately play again.
Great Course
This is a great course for a muni. Good shape for the amount of play it gets. The price is right! Greens were true, but could be a little faster. Otherwise, I highly recommend it.
Really nice Staff
Every staff member I met was very cooperative and a pleasure to meet. Tommy, the Starter, was exceptionally helpful as was the check in agent (didn't get her name). The food at their café was extremely good.. The overall course was in great condition and an enjoyment to play. Will be coming back soon.
