Palm Harbor Golf Club
About
Palm Harbor's narrow, bending fairways are lined with towering palms, oaks and pines. Combine this with elevated greens and you have a course that demands accurate shots. The creativity in the design is the use of large bunkers. This course is more accessible for golfers of all handicaps and abilities, and easier to manage.
Play this course as a warm-up, work on your accuracy and iron play.

Terrible customer service if you are younger than 60!
My wife and I play this course 3-4 times a week and it is really improving a lot, probably the best, taken care of course in the area! I was pleasantly surprised when I was on the practice green and noticed that the green finally had a bit of speed! Every time I play this course the marshals always have something to say about the pace of play so I started setting my timer every time I get to the first tee box and it never fails, if there is a group of older golfers, behind us the marshals will tell us to catch the group in front of us even if we are on time! However, on July 18 2022, the marshal drove by the people in the group (foursome) ahead of us (twosome) without saying anything to them. When he came to us I stopped him so that he could say something to the group so that they would let us pass them because they refused when we asked. The marshal refused because they were on pace for a foursome, he even went as far as lying to me by telling me they had a group right in front and f them so it wouldn’t help us f we passed. The problem with his lie is that I had been taking pictures on every hole and those pictures showed absolutely no one in front of them for at least two holes. My wife and I have been searching for a course that we liked enough to become a member of and we really thought Palm Harbor was the course for us but, when it is so obvious that they don’t care about your experience unless you are elderly or they know you!
Greens
So I haven’t played at this course in over 2 weeks. At that time the greens had been aerated and were coming really well. I was a bit disappointed that the greens are no better now than about 2 weeks ago.
Morons
They no longer have a water or ice dispenser. A ranger came out to the 12th hole to tell our foursome (my friend and a couple we were paired with) there were 3 groups on the backed up on the 10th tee because of our slow play. We were at about 2:15 to that point which put us at a 3:45 pace (carts say pace of play should be 4:10). We never saw a group even on the tee behind us when even when we were on the green. We finished in 3:40 excellent by most standards . My friend and I normally play at a 2.5-3 hour pace. It’s the first time in 20 years of playing we’ve ever been warned for slow play. It’s irritating. It never occurred to them that the reason 2 groups were waiting was probably because of the slow play of the first of that trio. I still give 4 stars for pace of play because even though their anger was misplaced at least they were trying to keep it moving.
Worth trying
Palm Harbor is a nice golf course.
Greens always seem very slow there. Otherwise worth playing.
Tight track
Fun tight track but the greens are ridiculously slow.
I went as a single and got paired up with single and father and son in law. Great group of guys. Course was In good shape the greens have pretty much recovered from being aerated,, rolled nice but slow.
Good Value. Kewl layout.
Apparently being a local has it’s perks here. Our threesome was paired with a 4th. There was a threesome in front of us. A double behind us and a threesome behind them. Felt rushed the majority of the round. Not sure why the double didn’t get paired with a 3rd. Other than that nice experience. Definitely worth the money. The greens were in good shape.
Palm Harbor never disappoints.
Well groomed, a great layout and beautiful visuals.
My only "complaint", and it is a small one, is that the greens were fairly slow. They were at least mostly consistent, so by later in the round my long putts were getting to the hole.
The "Green Lion" restaurant is a high point. Great service and great food. I am not from Palm Coast but I heard there was some controversy and the restaurant owners might choose to leave. That would be a shame, they add immeasurably to a first class experience.
$15 course masquerading as a $45/$60 course
Slow greens full of pitch marks, feet scuffs, bumps and bruises. Slow, slow, slow pace of play. Clientele don’t let you play through.
Made golf unemployable today.
25 minutes standing in the rain waiting on a cart….before I gave up and just went inside.
Go inside and they’re like You’re up on the tee now
Another 10 minutes waiting for a cart.
Only allowed water if you have your own cup.
Tee boxes closed with no warning of that from the booking, cart staff, starter or pro shop. Finally got to hole 5 and there were available tee boxes again that weren’t 100yard Par 4s.
Real shame. Boring layout too, not a single hole that I was like Oh that’s cool.
Best Course in Town
Palm Harbor is the best cared for golf course in the local area! The greens could be a little faster but they are in great condition! My wife and I love to play at this course because of the care that goes into it and we have met some really great couples when we have been paired up with other golfers! This is a great golf course especially for golfers that aren’t long hitters!
Top Course
Once the greens come back from plugging, this course would be rated a 5 Star! From tee box to green, it challenges and rewards for smart play; you will not go wrong placing this course into your rotation.
Good track for the area
Greens still had aeration but fairways were good, played in 335 as a three some
