Great track
I had heard mixed reviews about the course so I went to the driving range the Friday before to check it out before I made a tee time. The tee at the range was in great shape and the putting green looked solid as well. On the day of my tee time, I was greeted in the parking lot by very friends staff member who gave me my cart for the day. Proshop interaction was friendly and professional and I was paired with a very pleasant gentleman who has played the course before. The two of us played 18 in just over 3 hours. Fun layout for every level of golfer. Word to the wise, bring a water bottle and fill it up with the water provided near the proshop. There is no drinking water located anywhere on the course.
Surprised
Totally appreciated this course from the last time we played here. Sure hope they continue to water the course, greens and tees as summer is coming. I'm afraid if they don't we'll see the the old course come back. For now, it was fun and a pleasure to play.
A must play
Great course with a nice layout and just as many challenges as there are forgiving features. Excellent value with a comfortable pace of play.
Pine Lakes is Beautiful and Challenging, but still needs some work.
I've been playing Pine Lakes on and off for a few years, but more often lately. The staff is awesome! The groundskeeping has significantly improved, but the "sand" traps are more like "dirt" traps. Otherwise, well-maintained. This day we had an impatient group behind us, even though it was apparent that we were waiting for the group in front of us that was a bit slow but moving along. I can't stand the hurry-up golfers. I like to take my time and enjoy the round. If you have somewhere else to be, don't be on the golf course.
Slow boat to China
The course is in very good shape except for the greens on 10 and 11, they need some work as weeds are growing and putting is an adventure. The group in front of us were very slow and the ranger did not push them along. The biggest issue is the bunkers; no sand and like hitting off concrete. Finally, this course has made an incredible comeback and is worth playing.
Good layout. Some greens could use improved condition and green speed could be increase. Overall an enjoyable course
Enjoyable
This course is totally playable and enjoyable. It is not perfect or pristine but for $45 you can’t expect perfection. I found the layout interesting and the conditions to be average to above average.
Good value
Xourse is in good shape. Some rough sports on greens and not a straight putt all day. Enjoyed it.
