Sweeeeet!
Bravo Arnie and the whole operation! Great food & beverage operation, as well. Only downside was the lack of a beverage cart.
I thought the course was in good condition considering the drought like conditions in the area.
The primary recommendation would be the parking lot needs to be repaved.
Greens
There are some weeds starting to pop upon the greens i hope the maintenance crew address them before they get out of hand
Has gone downhill?
This is the first time I've play Pine Lakes in about a year. The last several times the course and especially the greens were in great condition and I have recommended to many. After playing here last week I feel like I gave out some bad advice. While the course itself was in decent shape, the greens were horrible. I'm not sure if the groundskeeper who put it in such great shape last year has left or what has happened. Maybe they cut the funding for course upkeep or what? I sure won't be recommending play there to anyone I know until such time as there are some improvements. The pricing has gone up but the quality has gone down!
Pine Lakes
Course and pace of play was good. It was a good value for us as we got a Golfnow price of $46.00 per player. If we had to pay $65 I would have been disappointed. If you can get a good price it is one of the nicer places.
Challenging course, and a terrific place for regular play.
Alway a friendly reception and tee off times are managed well. Carts are always well prepped. Love this course.
*Had a little issue with impatient golfers behind us on this day. A very slow foursome was slowing the foursome in front of us, but we're patient and never in a rush. This should have been apparent to the twosome behind us, with the obvious visibility on the 6th and 7th. But they continued to push us, and even hit me with a ball prematurely approaching the 17th green as I was putting my clubs away. Common courtesy escapes some but we just proceeded to the 18th. Never received an apology.
Great course layout
We play here fairly often Arnie Palmer layout, so some very fun holes, especially on the back. Great find in restaurant as well.
Nice track and great greens
If you can get a Golf Now deal at this course, take it! The layout is great - The greens are in great shape, especially for this time of year. Fairways were generally good as were the tees.
The parking lot is an absolute train wreck, which needs an entirely new surface, so go slow!
Greens good, rest growing in still
Greens are looking and rolling pretty well, only a few patchy spots mostly near edges and away from pins. Fairways are pretty spotty with a lot of weeds in places as the dormant bermuda is still coming back in.
Nice course
Al things considered, great course. Nice layout, concrete cart paths, winter conditions. It's not in PGA form but neither is my game. Would definitely play again but there's only so many days in town.
