Buffalo Creek Golf Course

Extremely slow! They were at a 2’ slowness on a 12’ putt!!

First the bad:

- Had a 9:55 tee time and the course was somehow behind 25 minutes that early in the day?

- Range mats were basically like hitting off concrete

- Greens were slow (but consistent) but definitely need some care

Now the good:

- Once we got going, a 4.5 hour round for a fully booked course is not bad

- The course has some awesome views and I personally love all the par 3s! They all have some character

- I paid $35 which is definitely a fair price for what you get

I played on Father’s Day and it was quite busy. Teed off about 15 minutes late and had to wait on a few tee boxes. Usually when I play here I don’t have to wait. But the ranger was riding around doing his job and was quite friendly. Once we got to the turn he gave us the option to go back and replay the front again rather than the back due to there being 2 groups waiting on the 10th to tee off which I didn’t mind. The bathrooms out on the course were very clean and I was quite surprised and the older couple making the food and drinks were awesome as well. The greens were ok seemed to have some spots that needed to have some grass grow into but the fairways and tee boxes were good. Great for the price right now.

First time playing BC - was lucky to be paired with a regular that helped with targets. Overall very good for the price. Some issues in fairways and greens but not too bad. Will definitely play there again.

I want to give them an awful review so it doesn’t get overcrowded, but the way they have turned the caretaking of the course is just amazing I could do it.
