Buffalo Creek Golf Course

I’ve been playing this course for 20 years. I’ve never seen the greens in such terrible conditions. And they don’t tell you how bad they are when they take your money. And the pace of play was extremely slow. There were two different groups of 8 people playing together.

I have been playing golf for 10 years, I have never been to a golf course where the greens were in such bad shape ever. It’s to the point where this golf course should seriously think about shutting down fixing their greens like a normal golf course, then reopening.

They are charging $55 for a round of golf, the greens have more rot on them than grass, it’s like putting on marble with fertilizer and sand everywhere. It’s absolutely horrendous, for $55 around this golf course is insane, at least have some humility as an owner and aggressively discounted the round of golf, you can’t even call it Golf because once you get to the green, it’s more like hockey!

Everything is nice but the greens are worst I’ve seen

Cost of playing is expensive for condition of course as greens were in bad condition, lots of sandy ateas

Greens need a tremendous amount of work. Booked my tee time knowing there were four open tee times in front of my hoping for a quick pace. I had to wait after hole one and then a group of two jumped on in front of me on hole 5 🤦🏻‍♂️

Good value. Fairways and tee boxes have good growth, however MANY greens are almost unplayable. huge patches of no grass or sand filled dead areas on many greens. With half your game on or around greens it is a detractor.

Great layout, staff and amenities. But the greens.

I know staff is doing the best they can based on budget and our lack of rain this past winter. But this seems to be the same issue every year. When the greens are as small as some of these, 1/8 of the green being sanded and looking like property bordering the straight of Hormuz, makes for a rough day for putting. I have faith and the love this course.

Greens are diseased and in repair. Balance of course in good condition. Value for the money with greens as they are is poor.

The course made the mistake to set a tee time 2 minutes before a 40 CART BEST BALL SCRAMBLE. Hole 3, starter comes and tells us we're holding up the tournament. 5th hole, makes us SKIP the 6th hole, which has the ONLY restroom on the front. On the turn, told to hurry up again. 11th hole, told to hurry up again. It was so bad, one of our foursome quit The rest of the round, the seater followed us to make sure we didn't do ANYTHING other than hit the ball and go get it. I've been playing golf for over 40 years, and by far, the worst experience I've ever had. And, to make it worse, one of our foursome is A MEMBER! So....if you want to play this course, make sure your a scratch golfer, play alone, and don't play during snow-bird season.

Staff was great with a perfect 6 for 20 beer deal. Good thing that was available. The greens were more sand than grass and super inconsistent. Some tee box’s were Prestine and others def needed work. The rough and areas surrounding green were unplayable at points. Fun day still but course needs a lot of attention.

Course itself was fine…especially for off season.

Pace of play was great.

Staff was great.

Was hoping to see Chubb’s…didn’t though.

Greens were rough due to fungus thing that affect many FL course.

It should be noted the course is located right next to a sewer/water treatment plant… smelled like shizz for my round. I’m told it all depends on which way the wind is blowing…a rather stinky gamble!

None the less first time playing there and first round of the year for me while visiting from WI…got to play with a few great local guys which was great!!

Overall a decent course and experience!
