Buffalo Creek Golf Course

Used a deal on GolfNow and played for just a couple of bucks. Working on a new swing and knew the course would likely be empty. Played 18 in two and a half hours. Bottom line, if you want to go out and practice, BC is a good course to play. Course has some lengthy holes and is challenging. Several temporary greens were being used. A necessary evil, particularly when we’re going through a drought!

The course is in very ruff shape. Not 1 decent green currently. 3-4 temporary greens cut into fairways. Friendly staff and good price

One of our favourite courses over many years. There is so much work being done at the moment. Hopefully it will be ready by fall that’s when we will be able to play it again.

There were 2 greens and a couple tee boxes that were closed for grading and replanting. The staff was very up-front and gave a large discount on pricing. The fairways are very nice for a muni course. pace of play was slow but it was a Sunday.

Rain wasn't projected until 5:30 pm. Unfortunately, after finishing the 4th hole the rain started. I couldn't finish the 18 hole round. Do I receive any type of credit?

One of our favourite courses but not up to its usual standard.The greens need a lot of attention they had temporary ones on some holes fairways & tee boxes were not very good..

BC what happened. The course is in poooooooor shape. Yes it’s 35$. I’m just here to warn yall. You’re getting what you paid for. Woof.

They having been working on the course and it is getter much better. Tee areas have been fixed up and are still being worked on. The greens still need work but overall a fun course

We like the course and the employees are helpful and friendly but the greens need a lot of work. In all fairness I believe they are working on that.

Teed off at 3 pm on GolfNow. Our 3-some finished at 6:15 pm sharp. Nice steady pace. The faurways and tee grounds were in good shape. There are two temporsry greens (#10 & #17) due to current repair of those two greens. The rest of the greens were currently under some type of active greenskeeper repair but the flags were placed on those large greens in good spots were they rolled true and had marginal impact on my putting stats. They were a little slower than normal probably due to current drought conditions but our group still had plemty of one putts. I still think Buffalo Creek is a great value for the money and at this time of the year the playing pace is great. A nice links course where the wind dictates the club to use. I recommemd this course.

The course has good layout.Fairways are in good shape.The greens not so much. To be fair, they must be working on their course.There was even two temporary grains.

The greens were in very bad shape. With the heat of summer coming on it can only get worse. I am sure that some of this is due to watering restrictions.

Temp greens are temp, new seeding is coming in fast. Fairways are thick and produce good lies. Fun course!

If you want to go out and just practice your long game I guess it'll be fine for that but the fairways are bad and the greens are one of the worst I've ever played. I'm not referring to the two temporary greens I'm referring to all of them. Laughable that they expect you to actually putt on these greens. They're not just slow but they're full of sand and divots and dead grass. Might as well work on your game long game until you get to the green and then just pick up your ball and move to the next hole.

Have played this course many times but this was probably the worst I’ve seen since the burnt fairways…

Pace of play was the weekend and it’s expected to be slow but it wasn’t too bad. What really made it slow up was the beverage cart. The driver sat in one spot for several minutes with no customers to scroll through their phone. Then, we noticed that the cart was parked on par 3 holes which slowed up an area designed for spacing. Work on that and it could be better.

Now, the greens. This is what ruined it for me. Patches, fills, sand, and extra growth is no fun to putt through. At times, all greens go through bad spells on any area course. However, there is no attention for these in a timely manner which leads to the current conditions. I know “season” is winding down finally but consider aerating before they leave. Other courses do this and it serves them well. Instead, you are now in a situation where the greens will cost you business. Just a thought.

Other than the greens, enjoy the round. Just don’t expect to work on your putting for now.

I played on Saturday April 25th with my son and it was by far the best I have ever played on any course. The greens were amazing and fantastic. I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to hit some serious long balls.
