Buffalo Creek Golf Course

Too slow, hole 3 there wete 4 groups on a par 3. The pin placements were plain stupid on 4 holes including 3 where the huge jam up was. . No Marshall , starter shoves as many and as fast as possible. Greens are in distress and zero being done, that would cost money. Expecting them to fix themselves is a complete joke. It's too bad this track is nice but this management group is a joke. They could careless about your experience.

Course in great shape, fairways the best, As usual to many golfers.

Course pace of play is bad.If they would space tee times out another 2 minutes from 7 to at least 9 minutes it would take care of the problem. Consider switching both nines. The second hole on the front (the par 3) over water backs everyone up. If that was on the back the fact that people would be warmed up by the time they play it and the less hazards starting on the back would help a steady flow without all the backups.

These Pope Run golf courses are brutal for slllloooowwww play. It's greed over service. The pin placements were stupid, can't even say bad, they were stupid, who's the intelect who decide to put 4 holes on hills. Nowhere for ball to rest!!! This made back ups at those holes, because instead of play for par your playing for double and triple, that includes all four players, no wonder on those holes there were 3-4 groups. Hence the word stupid!! The starter just never delays the groups to their times he pushes groups through as tight and fast as he can then you have major traffic right after hole one. Greens were suspect and just filling sand is a joke, they won't mysteriously just fix themselves, but this managent doesn't care! Some greens were ripped from aeration but don't bother to tell customers or even roll them or something. Watch the bouncy ball go. Too bad this could be great if it wasn't all about profits. I don't begrudge profits, I am just against take take take and do nothing to improve the experience.

Front 9 took 2:50 so we had to quit, not enough daylight despite a 1pm start. Total lack of rangers to keep things moving. Sad.

The course is in good condition. Actually the pricing of the course 60 to 40$ give a good value for the money. Not a perfect course but good enough to enjoy our game
