Flamingo Lakes Country Club in Pembroke Pines is one of the area's best-kept secrets. The layout is challenging but it is also very forgiving, making it accessible for players of any skill level. The course differs from other golf courses in the area due to its hilly terrain. Elevation changes are not common occurrences on Florida golf courses but you'll find several tricky uneven lies on this one. It also stands out for its superb conditions. Water hazards come into play on almost every hole, presenting some interesting risk-reward opportunities. There are also several strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. The layout requires thought and strategy in order to score well. Flamingo Lakes isn't long, instead it provides a quick and challenging round that can be played in less than four hours.

Nice day to play
Solo tee time that I was to join another group of 3. They were late so starter said I could play solo which was great. Thunderstorms started at hole 10. Waited it out under a tree and was eventually able to finish the round. Cart path only was annoying but the course was very wet so understood. Would play course again.
Great value
This is what Davie and Bonaventure should be aiming for. Great value golf, course is in mostly good shape, a couple of greens need some work. Water makes the course tougher, since it's not a long course. Informal atmosphere,
Great Bargain
I'm becoming fond of this course. There's a laid back, no pressure attitude, the fairways are solid provided there isn't too much rain. A few greens need some attention, but overall they're good. Water covers quite a bit of the course, but it's not a long course even from the tips. This is what Davie or Bonaventure should be aiming for.
Solid option
A pleasant round, despite the heat. Course is in good shape and a mostly friendly layout, although the hard holes are very hard.
Overbooked. Had a tee time for 9:16 teed off at 9:50. Had 12 guys on 1st hole upon arrival at 8:50. Plus another three group yet to tee off. No range. Always overbooked. Course should adjust to the type of players that visit and should spread out their bookings from 8min to maybe 12 Atleast.
The rough around the greens is really high and needs to be cut. I don’t think it’s fair that you had a good shot just off the green and into the first cut and you have a problem finding your ball don’t think we should be penalized for that.
Course is not worth the money!
Decent lay out and staff is very nice but very overpriced as the course is in terrible shape.
