Flamingo Lakes Country Club
About
Flamingo Lakes Country Club in Pembroke Pines is one of the area's best-kept secrets. The layout is challenging but it is also very forgiving, making it accessible for players of any skill level. The course differs from other golf courses in the area due to its hilly terrain. Elevation changes are not common occurrences on Florida golf courses but you'll find several tricky uneven lies on this one. It also stands out for its superb conditions. Water hazards come into play on almost every hole, presenting some interesting risk-reward opportunities. There are also several strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. The layout requires thought and strategy in order to score well. Flamingo Lakes isn't long, instead it provides a quick and challenging round that can be played in less than four hours.

Lots of OB!
Challenging course because of the constant white stakes on almost every hole. They made us play with another two-some because it was so busy. Other than that it was in great shape. Not incredibly Long but long enough.
Good golf
Nice course with a good layout. T boxes in good condition the greens were nice but quick.
Fairways in good condition but take it easy with the carts or your be bouncing out of the cart.
Carts are noisy loud. Otherwise fun course to play.
Great experience
Excellent starters like Danny Metzger that keep carts clean and sanitized. Course is well kept. All nice people. Close to home. Only issue is the view is always the same look if apts.
Flamingo lakes
Technical course in good shape, narrow and shorter than most. Fun course always kicks my butt.
It is a nice golf course, something narrow and short, but in good condition and very quiet you can play comfortably. I recommend this course.
Wonderful Course to play
It was a nice afternoon when my girlfriend and I played 18 at Flamingo. The fairways were well kept and the greens were in very good condition and had very smooth rolls. Some holes include water hazards but we dont remember seeing many bunkers which made the course a bit friendlier. We had only played Miccosukee in S.F. And theres more sand and water than grass i think. It was nice to see i only sucked at that course and not all of them haha! Overall great experience. (They dont accept discover, mastercard and visa only! Fyi)
Course in good shape.....
The course was in good shape lots of hilly areas . The green were pretty fast . There was a lot of rain yesterday but course dried up nicely except some of the bunkers. The pace was pretty good . There is water on a lot of holes and some of the holes are challenging.
BE ADVISED THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL $2 CHARGE FOR CLEANING SURCHSRGE WHEN CHECKING IN. All in all a good round and a good value.
This ain't it
This course is horrendous. Driving the cart down the fairway is like going over speed bumps. I don't understand why it's layed out like that. You can't even drive on the fairway without your clubs bouncing out of your bag. The greens are smaller than the tee boxes which is terrible course design. Trust me do not play this course if you are used to playing good/average quality courses. This course is not worth $35, it's a $20 course that's needs A LOT of fixing up.
Poor customer service/ Poor leadership
Flamingo lakes golf club staff is poorly trained in customer service. They act as they are doing you a favor by allowing you to Pay to play. Their leadership is the problem. I will not be playing this course unless they change the way they treat customers. This is not just one incident but many this past Tuesday was my tipping point.
Good option
Staff was friendly. Price was cheap. Course plays fairly long. Greens are very small and of average quality You can miss a flag .by a few feet and still be in the rough. Carts are kind of old fashioned. Not many players so the pace was great. Enjoyed the par 3's over the water. Generally an enloyable day.
Course in Very good shape, all greens in very good condition.
