About
Marcus Pointe Golf Club tumbles across 600 acres of rolling woodlands, which is a rare occurrence in the mostly flat Panhandle area. The back nine is where golfers really begin to notice the dramatic undulations. Earl Stone, who has designed several Gulf Coast golf courses, created the layout. He has built his reputation on building playable and affordable courses. While water may not come into play often, golfers will still be kept on their toes by the numerous sand bunkers and an abundance of trees and of course, the tricky angles and elevation changes throughout. The golf course is challenging but fair with a playability that appeals to golfers of all skill levels. The greens are well manicured and keep all abilities in mind. Four sets of tees make Marcus Pointe Golf Club even more accessible.

Could be better
Lots of small things they could do to make it better. But good value for your money would play it again.
Improved greens but fairways are sketchy
Played the course for the first time this year. Greens were much improved over last year. There were still several areas of fairways that were bare. Even so, an overall good experience.
Good course, bad round
Overal good shape for early spring. Paired up with threesome apparently allowed to play out of one bag by the pro shop. Absolutely miserable experience ruining an otherwise great day.
Good time with friends
It was one of those days when no one was playing really good or really bad but there were some great highlights of the round with all 4 shooting par on 18. The course was in good shape and made for a fun round with friends.
Played back 9 first. Typical for Thursday. Back 9 greens recently sanded. Front 9 sanded probably a week before that. Fairways in many spots are in rough shape. Too many golf carts with only one person per cart in one group. This is hard on fairway turf. Otherwise course is in good shape and plays well.
Very enjoyable round
The course was in very good shape. I had given up on this course a couple of years ago but heard it was turned around and in good shape. It is true the course is in really good shape, greens are very nice. Made for a very enjoyable round of golf.
Great track for the money.
Everything was fine with the layout of the course. Challenging but fair. Only issue was bare spots in the fairways and a lot of leaves mostly in the ruff. Neighthor of which were extreme. Kevin in the club house was extremely helpful and considerate of putting me with players that knew the course as it was the first time I had played it. Will be back next week.
Great Day . Paired with nice people from Minnesota and Wisconsin . Course in good shape for this time of year. Greens were bumpy due to weeds on greens .

Better than expected
The course was in much better shape than expected for the time of the year. They’ve done a good amount of work on the tees and greens and it shows. Nice to add another course to the playable list.
Much improved
Been over a year since last played and improvement substantial. Definitely playing again in the near future.
Nice course
Good grass in fairways and greens for this time of year. Greens were bumpy. Was pair with three nice guys. Very enjoyable round. Will definitely continue to come back. All staff was great.
