About
Marcus Pointe Golf Club tumbles across 600 acres of rolling woodlands, which is a rare occurrence in the mostly flat Panhandle area. The back nine is where golfers really begin to notice the dramatic undulations. Earl Stone, who has designed several Gulf Coast golf courses, created the layout. He has built his reputation on building playable and affordable courses. While water may not come into play often, golfers will still be kept on their toes by the numerous sand bunkers and an abundance of trees and of course, the tricky angles and elevation changes throughout. The golf course is challenging but fair with a playability that appeals to golfers of all skill levels. The greens are well manicured and keep all abilities in mind. Four sets of tees make Marcus Pointe Golf Club even more accessible.

The course is in relatively good shape. Fairways a bit patchy. Greens are small and undulating but mostly good with some tufts of intrusive weed. That said it is a pretty layout and pleasant to play.

The course conditions have greatly improved from a few months ago, cudos to the maintenance staff great job on repairs and improvements you've made over the bad greens and course overall.

Nice Track
1st timer here. Was pleasantly happy with the conditions of the course. Fairways still need some TLC on some holes but overall the place is in great shape. Greens are very quick and undulating that will challenging even for a great golfer. Maintenance crew here is doing their best to improve this place after months of poor weather. Worth the money.

First time at Marcus Pointe
Great round, booked a hot deal and was paired up with two nice gentlemen. The lady in the clubhouse was very helpful, starter was nice as well. Was most impressed at the greens how they were rolling, pin locations were playing tough and made for a challenging approach shots. Would definitely play again!

What an improvement
Use to play here regularly but overall conditions were not worth it. Wow was I surprised - course is in great shape especially when you consider the heat we had this year. As always the staff here is great as well. Gonna put this one back on the rotation.

Quiet
We had the course pretty much to ourselves. Some of the greens had some repair work being done. Patches and heavy sand in those areas, but pretty minimal. Overall all though, good condition. Excellent play for the price.

Challenging Course
This course has drastically improved since only a couple of months ago. The fairways have grown in and the greens have never been better. Great job 👏
Our weekend group will definitely place this course back into rotation.

great layout
played many times before this time it was in the worst condition I have ever seen. bad greens and very poor fairways on the back nine

Great value. Conditions are getting alot better
They had some trouble with the greens several months ago and got some bad reviews. There has definitely been progress. The 12th is still pretty bad, with new sod patches scattered around. All the other greens are very good. If you play in Pensacola you know standards are pretty low so for mid $30 range youre getting a good deal here

BIG Imprivement
When this course is in good condition I consider it the best in Pensacola. They went through a rough patch a while back with some of the greens but they are coming back very nicely. Highly recommended.

The greens continue to need improvement! The fairways are better than they were a year ago. A few years back the course was in much better condition.
