Marcus Pointe Golf Club
About
Marcus Pointe Golf Club tumbles across 600 acres of rolling woodlands, which is a rare occurrence in the mostly flat Panhandle area. The back nine is where golfers really begin to notice the dramatic undulations. Earl Stone, who has designed several Gulf Coast golf courses, created the layout. He has built his reputation on building playable and affordable courses. While water may not come into play often, golfers will still be kept on their toes by the numerous sand bunkers and an abundance of trees and of course, the tricky angles and elevation changes throughout. The golf course is challenging but fair with a playability that appeals to golfers of all skill levels. The greens are well manicured and keep all abilities in mind. Four sets of tees make Marcus Pointe Golf Club even more accessible.

Marcus Pointe in Good Shape Right Now
I've played Marcus Pointe 15-20 times. Right now the course is in very good shape. The greens look deceptively slow but the ball rolled true and a little quicker than expected. The fairways and tee boxes were also in good shape, especially given the time of year. Saw the cart girl 3 times so it was a very enjoyable day. The only knock against the course was the number of singles that came up on us. We played during prime time (10:30) on Saturday yet 3 singles came up on us. At some point they should've been paired up.
Great value, good location, great staff. Course just needs some tlc
Great greens, very fast, loved the staff n layout, best value around, expect to shoot about 5 shots higher until u get use to the greens, kind of like Augusta, u have to put the ball in the right place
Nice Fall Day
The course is in pretty good shape and lots of folks playing. The pace of play was good and the course is challenging, but not to difficult either. Everyone was very friendly.
Course well maintained
Fairways and greens in good shape...the Bermuda grass won't last long!
Great course for beginners and pros alike
Course conditions are top notch and its very forgiving. Not a bunch of water hazards like most courses in the area. My new favorite course.
Good day, but the course needs to be marshalled
The group in front of us was drinking, they played very slowly and were were heavy-footed on the greens.especially around the hole.
Good condition
The course is in good condition. Bunkers had been raked since the previous couple days of monsoon weather. Very good drainage considering the area had received 4-8" of rain the previous few days. The greens are in very good shape. The starter allowed us to go off the back 9 as there was a men's weekly group just teeing off on number 1. Our foursome finished in about 3.5 hours, and were allowed to play through by a twosome on our 10th hole and a single on our 14th hole. Overall, a very nice day.
Great course
Hidden gem. First time. Good value for the money. Enjoyed everything about the course. Rewards accuracy
Great course but slow play.
The course is very nice and a challenge on some holes. Well maintained. Friendly staff. Only issue is the play was a little slow. At one point had to wait about 15 before teeing off.
Not the best but pretty good
I could have rated it a 4 but I'm compari9it to Stone bridge and cypress lakes, which have better fairways and greens. This place has the absolute best bunkers and is in very decent shape. Kind of and sad restroom and always too warm snack bar area. Employees like CHRIS make it a very friendly experience.
Course was in excellent condition. Staff were very friendly. Carts and restrooms pristine.
Course was enjoyable for + 20 handicap.
I would certainly endorse this course as a course in North Florida that you should play.
Beautiful course
The staff was friendly and helpful. The course was challenging and beautiful. Well kept terrain.
Great management and layout
I say this is well managed even though I never met the manager but the staff is friendly, and accommodating and that isn’t by accident. It reflects directly on management
The course had fallen in disrepair a few years ago but the new owner has revitalized the course and they have a excellent groundskeeper
I play as a single and teamed up with some great guys today
Wonderful round of golf
The course is a nice layout but several of the fairways were in very poor condition.
