Harbor Shores
About
Harbor Shores boasts a Jack Nicklaus Signature layout that plays through a stunning landscape of forest and wetlands. The golf course tumbles across hills and ravines blanketed with hardwood trees, providing a round that is as scenic as it is challenging. Thanks to the massive white sand dunes that edge along the water, the course has a truly links feel. When combined with the trees and natural water hazards provided by the landscape, the golf course becomes a truly formidable test. The seaside location also guarantees that some holes will be played into the prevailing wind. The trio of holes from the seventh through the ninth plays along the water and offer scenic views of Lake Michigan. There are 10 holes that border the Paw Paw River, Ox Creek, and their surrounding marshland.

Tough track!
Wind was blowing 30mph and made scoring hard! Beautiful course and will play again.
We played this the week after the senior PGA tournament and it was still in tournament condition. Even though it was a little wet it was still a great track can’t wait to go back.
Bucket List Item Check!
Marked another accomplishment off my bucket list!
Incredible Hot Deal
Playing the course less than 3 weeks before the Senior PGA Championship for $45 is an unbelievable deal! Incredible views and the course was in phenomenal shape!
Beautiful Course!
It was a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! Just sorry I didn't bring my "A" game!
Amazing course
The course layout was amazing. Most holes were dramatic and could be signature holes for the course.
Great experience.
Once a Year
I’m a 5-10 handicap generally, and I stick to cheaper courses. Got a hot deal and went to play here for 45$. Got my moneys worth easily (free range, great greens, etc). Staff is a little pretentious as expected for a course of this caliber. It’s a great play, way to expensive for a regular occurrence tho.
Jack loves sand and wild greens
Watched the senior pga here I think in ‘14 and walked this beast with sometime half mile walks between tees. The way they laid this course out is amazing and the cleanup from dumps and toxic factories is amazing.
Got a SUPER deal on TeeOff for $63.98 for the wife and I. Only sunny( although cold 45 degrees and breezy) day in quite a while on Tuesday 11/16/21.
They had a ton of workers on the course and was fun playing where the big names played. The greens although huge were not in the best shape. Neat to see the plaques of Jacks 18 major victory’s.
Was nice to play but wife and I agree Arnie’s Ravines a better course.
If you can stay out of the massive white sand bunkers and 2 putt half the time you’ll score well.
As a senior I played the white/gold which was perfect.
Almost ran out of power on the gps cart.
Drove 100 miles each way . Trying Lk Michigan Hills next time for a free birthday round.
Harbor Shores
First time playing and won’t be our last! Thought there would be more views of Lake Michigan, but that’s ok! Lots of elevation changes, very challenging greens. Really awesome course! Loved every second of it!
Beautiful but Difficult! Great challenge.
Play it, you won’t be disappointed! Well, maybe with your score….
COURSE WAS GREAT
PLAYING ONE OF THE HARDEST COURSES IN MY SEVEN YEARS OF PLAYING AND I HAVE TO SAY IT WAS A GREAT TURN OUT. THE WEATHER WAS A LITTLE WINDY THAT DAY MAKING IT HARDER TO PLAY. OVER ALL IT WAS A GREAT TIME!! 10/10 RECOMMEND FOR ANY GOLFER.
Must Play
Recently went to Harbor Shores with three friends for a golf trip. The staff was super nice and helpful. The carts were as comfy as the come and in great shape. The course couldn’t be any better. It was in great shape. The layout is second to none. The different views and traveling between holes is just awesome. We will definitely go back. I would put this on your must play list.
Beautiful
I look forward to playing this course in the future
Living the good life
Fun and challenging . Excellent layout. This course has a variety of hole types so never boring. Put this one on your bucket list. Greens were tough but hey you are playing a Nicklaus course that the pros play. How often do you do that ? It is ever bit a 5 star especially for Midwest golfers.. Finally you may think I had a good scoring round. based on this review, but I didn't . Everything else this course had to offer lets me forget about my score . Now what does that say about this course?
