The rain did not stay away!
Started off rough a foursome of women - obviously members complained because on the first tee we took two mulligans. Seriously first tee, we were first time at this course - from Michigan, a little rusty and the course did not have a practice range. It was also raining pretty good pace. The ranger came up to us once we reached the first green and told us that the foursome behind us complained and we could not hit more than one ball. I was so disappoint at these members. The next group ahead of us was just teeing off so not like we were not playing fast enough. The course was in nice shape however the complaint really was unnecessary and put a damper on our fun for the day. These members left after 4 holes. So just beware of the rude old Bitties.

Great golf course! Greens, fairways and tees are well maintained. Great restaurant as well. One of my favorites in this area.

Great little executive course
Very picturesque. Greens were in great condition considering the amount of rain we had. Nice Audubon course.
Very Nice Course - Horrible After-round Dining/Beverage Facility
Played Maple Leaf today for the first time in a long while... the club house staff was very personable, the course itself was in very good condition, but.... Our group likes to have a drink and bite to eat after the round - well, we went into the Sand Bar Restaurant and were told to go to the end where we could place our order - which we did. While waiting to place the order, several "members" came in and immediately placed and received their drink and food orders. All this time, we just stood there and, at no time, were our orders taken or our presence even acknowledged. It goes without saying... we left and took our business elsewhere. Will we play here again??? I doubt it!
Nice Little Executive Course
Nice Course, excellent value in non season using Golf Now reservation. Weather in Port Charlotte was 90 degrees. Pace of play was not good. Very slow threesome in front of us. Overall, it was really laid out well, especially for our wives. Greens ran slow, but true with a few challenging breaks.

Enjoyable to play....ample water...3 hr 15 min round...
A Nice Surprise!
Given the location in a residential development the course was spacious and attractive! We played from the Blue tees and found many opportunities to use a driver - distance and forgiveness. Ultimately used most clubs in the bag so that says something about the course (and my game?). The traps were groomed and playable, the hazards well-marked and though there were plenty of trees and bushes errant shots could be found quickly. Fairways and rough were in good shape. Greens were a bit bumpy but spacious and many had some good breaks to keep it interesting. Pace of play was excellent even though we started after lunch when volume of players and newcomers were most apt to be there. The ladies' tees were placed in appropriate locations. Where is the clubhouse for drinks?
Nice, with character
A little over 3 hours in season was a surprise. Enough par 4's to keep it interesting. Nice layouts with enough water for some real challenges. Will visit again.
First Time player
Well maintained, very friendly staff, nice challenge for average to good golfer.
Enjoyed this course
My husband and I were paired up with another very nice couple, we played 18 holes in about 3 hours. Course has a lot of doglegs and quite a bit of water. We stopped at the club house after our game for a couple of drinks, all the patrons and staff were very friendly. We will go back and play there again.
course is in immaculate condition
this course is a pleasure to play this time of year .
During the winter months, the price goes up significantly and it's very busy and difficult to get a tee time
Fantastic round of golf
Recently moved to Port Charlotte area by far best executive course i played. Staff is great, pace of play is great and cant wait to golf here again. highly recommend this course to golfers of all levels and younger people also! hidden gem

Nice little course in good shape and good for brushing up on your short game.

Course is in exceptional condition, greens accurate, fairways and tees very well maintained. Staff very friendly and helpful.
