Great Course and Value!
Although even after fairly recent aeration the course after the hurricane was in very good condition. The greens are undulating and very challenging for an Executive Course .... Our favorite, I would recommend!

Tell people it is an executive course.
This is an executive course with four par 4's and 14 par 3's. It is in decent shape with fast play. Pretty much only one staff member in the pro shop. No bag drop. Decent value but let people know what it is.

I was on holiday from Scotland when I played the course.
Great test of golf the back 9 especially hole 11 and 12 .Greens where a good for putting on .

Tough, Yet Forgiving
Like many executive courses, this one places a premium on accuracy, with water everywhere. At the same time, most holes have safe places where you can miss and still recover for bogey. The course weaves its way through the housing so it feels more like a full size course, making for a very pleasurable outing. Be aware, though, if you plan to walk, expect a lot more than 3100 yards. The golf shop is in pristine condition with supplies and lots of beverage choices. The golf cars seem new.

King's Gate Golf
A nice course. It's the beginning of the 'slow' season in Fla...the seasonal vacationers have gone back home and so, for another 6 mos, the courses are OURS! King's gate is a par 60 18 hole course within a gated community of nice homes. The tees are still good, fairways good, greens surprisingly green and smooth considering our drought, and very fast. It's a fun and challenging course with water in front of or along side most holes. Speed of play was very good as the 'walkers' have departed so most golfers are using the carts.
Iron play is key here. Definitely worth a play or two. Typical round of 18 should take 2 1/2 hours at a leisurely pace. Enjoy!

Way too slow!
Needs course and play management. 3 1/2 hours for a short executive course is way too long. Stood and waited for up to 10 minutes on each tee block.
