The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The course was in good condition.

This wasn't too bad of a course. It was only $15. I played a round in under 3hrs. It was a very hot day. Only saw one group in front of me around hole 15. Greens were aerated so not great for putting. Narrow fairways so if you don't go straight, I wouldn't play it. Overall fine course for only $15.

The course was in good condition, especially the greens. Mostly a par 3 layout, but about 6 short par 4 holes out of 18. There is water on almost all of the holes that can come into play with a bad shot. Riding cart is included with green fees, which is nice as a lot of the distances from the greens to the next tee can be a ways if your're walking. Three sets of tees, whites measuring about 3000 yards - par 60. Good course to work on your short game.

We had a nice time on this course as first timer's there. The course was in fine condition for this time of year. It's a challenging executive course for beginners as several of the fairways are narrow with homes bordering closely. You'll want to ensure your "hook" is under control on this course. Plenty of water and sand traps to challenge also. We'd play again at Kings Gate.

Very challenging course, greens are alway difficult to read and fast. This course Will constantly challenge your short game and dare you to say it easy. Pro shop staff always cheerful and helpful

Had to drive 45 minutes to play; would not do it again. Fairways and greens were in pretty good condition; tees could use some leveling. Greens were fast with few level spots which made putting a challenge. Water/preserve areas come into play on many holes. There are a few holes which have blind shots off the tee, therefore local knowledge would be a plus. Could get a sandwich in the clubhouse only if you 'ordered ahead', although I didn't see any mention of that on any signage. Played behind a group for four holes where I person had some severe mobility health issues; could not play through until we finally approached them. After that, sailed through the remaining 12 holes.

The course's "defense" are the greens. Very fast and undulating. Concentration on every putt, even 18" or more. Very fun trying to read the breaks. Certainly not a championship layout, but I'll play it again in A heartbeat for what it is. Just to try to make more putts, if nothing else.

game. We usually play 18 holes in 3 hours unless

there is league play ahead of us - then it can be

quite slow. Play in late afternoon and it is usually

very quiet. Lions Den offers great food at very

reasonable prices.

course in good shape. Just played 9. Front was backed up, so we were allowed to tee off the back, since it was open. Really appreciated that.

lots of water in play , long delay at one hole as you could not see the flag on this par 3 hole from the tee box , green were fast but true , overall a good course for the money.

Went with 2 couples one lady was coming back to the game after many years away. We found that the course worked well for all of us. The pace of play seems to always be slightly slower here, but probably due to the size of the course.

first time on course. Played from the back tees. It was interesting on some holes. Blind shots into green with a lot of water and sand traps. Staff very friendly and accommodating. 10th hole par 4 should only be a par 3. Would play again. Good practice for irons.

Played as two couples with the guys hitting from the Blues. Water comes into play on almost every hole with challenging carries required for many holes. Course was in good shape with smooth moderate speed greens (not as much break as meets the eye). The ladies felt comfortable with the distances and challenges.

Played at 7;30 in a thick fog on a course that I'd never played before. I had to rely on my playing partner for guidance and my GPS watch. The course is short and narrow, but in good condition for Feb. I think we finished 18 holes in under three hours. I will play it again. This course was about 10 min. from Punta Gorda. Now I am 1,500 miles away in the freezing cold writing this silly review :-)

All is good other than pace of play waiting on every hole and no marshal to move things along.
