We had fun but play was slow. The Starter left as his shift was over at 1:00 pm and no one replaced him. Way too many people waiting to tee off at one time on #1 (20-24).

After 9 the course did open up a bit as several 4somes left because it was so slow. Despite it all we had fun. It was what we expected and no more.

Pin placements were a joke, on hills. Doesn't help the friendliness of the course.

This exec course is short and tight. The pin placements were tough on the greens that had a lot of hills, curves, and valleys. The course was in good shape.

Have played this course about 6 times this season, and this was slowest yet. Two groups ahead of us were 4 men, one riding and three walking slower than I have ever seen anyone walk and remain upright. It seems there was no marshal on duty that morning. They would allow no one to play through and there were no groups at least two holes ahead of them. They only played nine. Our front nine took about 2 hours and 50 minutes. Typically it isn't this slow, at least in the morning.

It's always difficult to find a course that is easy enough for a beginner, while challenging enough for an experienced player. King's Gate fits that bill well. My wife is relatively new to the game and enjoys playing here. The front marker distance and hazards seem to be just right. I play the blue/back markers and was pleasently surprised with the level of challenge it provides. Conditions are decent. The pro shop staff and restaurant are teriffic for a beer or lunch afterwards.

This is a very enjoyable course to play. Can be a little slow at times.

this executive course is a bit more challenging than those you typically find in the area. Greens were fast with plenty of opportunities to find water or sand with an errant shot.

Arrived earlier than our tee time and went right out to the first tee.
Although there seemed to be plenty of golfers, we were able to complete our round in 3 hours.

More accomplished players will find the blue tees up the ante on the difficulty meter.

Course was nice for an executive course. Be prepared for water on every hole. They have over seeded for the winter, however a few greens need some attention.

It is very challenging with plenty of water and places to get into trouble.

Just moved into the area and this was me and my brothers second time to play because we are both semi retired. using the web site is great for saving and both times we enjoyed the course a lot
imost holes are par 3 but you have lots of room between the housing development
the greens were recently sanded but still seemed fast.

well worth your time and money, mostly par 3's with a handful of par 4's Some holes very challenging, and some easy. But overall a good course.

Great challenge to improve on short game. You need to play this course 2 or 3 times

Excellent value. Par 60. Tight fairways, homes near fairways and many water hazzards. Great course for an accurate iron player.

had a lot of fun. nice course greens were good. over all a really nice short course. will play it again.

Beautifully maintained. Even though it's all 3/4 pars, many holes, although short, are narrow and surrounded by private residences making the holes more on the difficult side because you have to be really careful with your shots. Probably not ideal for the really good golfers, but great for me - someone who does not have a handicap LOL. I found the staff very friendly and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon here. Will definitely be back.

Course greens were recently aerated so a little bumpy, but overall the course was in fine shape. Enjoyed the day, for a quick play, we were the only ones on the course.

I played this course three times so far and the staff is always helpful and friendly. Very enjoyable course.

Good course for the price we paid ($7 plus service charge).
