Amenities
Due to Hurricane Ian last year this course has had so much Red Tape to get their Club House back open. Inspectors I heard have been over doing their claims of things that need changing updating before allowing it to reopen.
Perfect for my wife
My wife has only been playing for 3 months. She enjoy herself. Which means I had a good time!!🏌🏼♀️🏌🏼♀️🏌🏼♀️
Fun course
Great executive course. Challenging with lots of water. Pace of play is good since snowbirds haven’t arrived yet. New clubhouse isn’t finished yet so they are still operating out of a mobile trailer with no restrooms except for port-o-let.
No club house
No indoor bathrooms outside portable only. No ice machines. Bring your own cooler if you want cold drinks. Storm damage from 2 years and County Inspectors giving the Course a hard time to get their Clubhouse back in order to use. Course a little soggy in places must be having Irrigation problems. Short course a lot of Pat3 but our cost was fair for 18 holes.
Nice Course....but ....
Slow, slow slow.... it wasn't worth it. Couldn't get a rhythm going because you play a hole, then wait 10 minutes. Just not worth it for a very small yardage "executive" course.
Great Course with friendly Staff
New golfer and I love this course. Just enough water without being too scary.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Course is maintained well!
Rude Staff
After playing first two holes, starter approached us and asked if we minded moving to Back 9 because a large league was preparing to go out for shotgun start. It was open - no big deal. After several holes on back, Ranger approached and said we were behind on pace of play, although no one was in sight behind us.
Friendly
The course is beautifully maintained and the staff super friendly and helpful. Drove us to the 1st tee box with a description of the first hole layout and description of mid point turns, etc. The only real downside was that the homes in the community feel very crowded to the course without much tolerance for shots gone awry, and several holes are consistently the same short 90’ish yard holes, almost to the point of being exact same yardage as the prior.
Great Course, nice layout and great staff
Would have been nice to have been advised while registering for T Time that the course had no ice machine working so we could have come prepared. Regardless, nice course, well maintained and I would play this course again.
Course Great Condition
Decent breeze as usual and course was as good as we've ever seen it.
18 holes @ Blue Heron Pines
Had the course all to ourselves. Lots of ponds and palm trees classic Florida.
Wonderful course
A very nice course to play any day.
The staff is very nice !
Nice course but unfriendly staff
My girlfriend and I had a tee time for 11:05a. The first Marshall of the course said he would only be there until noon because he had to leave to go elsewhere for the day.. he was great. A super nice guy and very helpful and friendly. However, around 1-1:30p the second Marshall came up to us and made us feel rushed. Called us over to his cart, asked how many holes we were planning on playing, how much longer we would be.. just really giving us hurry up and leave vibes. Mind you both my girlfriend and I are newer golfers so it’s going to take us a little longer to get up and down the course due to many strokes. But the whole time we were at the course we saw 1 other golfer coming up behind us and even then offered to let him play through us while we stood to the side and he chose to play around us instead. Other than him, there was no one but us on the front 9. (At the time of the Marshall encounter we were on hole 6) As we get to the green of hole 9 (which we mentioned would be our last hole) here comes the Marshall again confirming we were done after this. I just didn’t understand the rush when there was literally nobody around us on the course. Other than that, a fairly decent course.
Great course
Great course for the value only thing missing is a ProShop to buy food and drink.Staff excellent great time.
