Twin Isles Country Club

Course was in good shape fairway to green. Greens rolled well; only issue was water around the course had an environmental issue and hundreds of dead fish lined the edges. Not a pleasant sight or odor. I booked a deal tee time, wouldn’t play at listed fee.

The course is in great shape but it’s not worth $138. Starting on #10 thru #13 there are hundreds of dead fish on the banks of the ponds. Also, there are dozens of vultures and others birds pecking away. The smell is extremely bad. Not a single person mentioned the problem in advance.

While the course was fine none of the ball washers had any water in them. Yardage markets were few and far between and lots of ground under repair. When we got to the back nine the smell was atrocious from 10 thru 15 there were thousands of dead fish in the ponds and vultures everywhere. There didn't appear to be any effort being made to clean up the mess. If your going to charge top rates you need to provide top quality service, Or at least let people know the situation so they can make a informed decision.

Overall it's a decent course for Florida. Where they dropped the ball is there were no carts for us to use to take to the driving range, so on an 85° day we had to haul our clubs to use the range after paying $120 for the round.

My best guess is something similar to RED TIDE.

Fairways rough shape greens a little better… sand traps rough.

Nice course. Playing time was 3:45. Got caught up to group in front of us but never had to wait for a couple of minutes to hit next shot. Ranger was a little pushy with no one behind us. Nice course but for the money can play other courses of same caliber for less.

Greens are in good shape , sand traps are gradually getting better. Some fairways had a lot of damage.

Staff very friendly course in good condition. Pace of play good

Played 3 times in the last month. First time was great. Second time I arrived 11 minutes before t time and they marked me absent. The team after us took our t time, so a simple swap seamed likely. Instead they started us on 10. Starter came out while we were on 17 and said hurry up, I have a spot for you to tee off. I don't like being rushed and wondered why they simply didn't honor our regular t time as we were there. But they sent out the team after us early, so why not us take there spot?? Oh well, it is what is is. Played again for the 3rd time on1/28 and they must have had a tournament as there was straightest drive painted on a fairway and other signs. Pace was slow and we waited a bit on each hole through the first 7. Then nobody was to be seen and the group in front of us disappeared. We figured they were part of the tournament and were done. The start/or ranger was at the turn. He stops us and says WE have to pick up the pace as we were taking too long and we were in pace for a 4:30 minute round. I didn't say that the group in front of us held us up simply because they were not there now. Kind of upset me when it was not our fault. We ended the round at 4 hours and 1 minute as there was no one ahead of us on the entire back 9. I paid $139.00 per person and $7.50 for a hot dog and it is likely that there will not be a 4th round. Too bad, course is nice and greens are perfect, but people and prices not so nice.
