Course
We came in from Illinois to meet friends found this course and after rain on Sunday it was cart path only. Still was amazed at how well the course was taken care of and cart path only really wasn’t a problem. I would definitely golf this course again
Good value
The course was in great shape and not over challenging. Only negative was that there was no cart service for refreshments.
Great place to play
Semi private Country club open to the public where the staff treats everyone excellent. Tee times are not packed one after another so you do not seem rushed. Course was in excellent shape
The greens were in excellent shape. The fairways were as expected for winter on the front nine, and even better on the back nine. Enjoyed the challenging pin placements. All FL clubs are overpriced, but this was priced better than most. Nice practice facilities.
Great place
Well worth the time or effort to play there. Great layout, conditions good, greens hard and fast - excellent. Lot of nice holes.
Course was in in great condition and very challenging from the back tees. I am here for the month and will consider playing this again.
Very Nice 18 Hole Course
This was the 2nd time playing Twin Isles and after playing a couple of other local golf courses I found that this course was overall better than the others with a full 18 holes with only a couple par 3's on both nines and a couple par 5's on both nines versus a lot of par 3. The greens were in great shape and the fairways are excellent with real grass.
Nice course, way too expensive.
Twin Isles is a nice enough track with a variety of challenging holes, and 7 different tee sets. The only issue I had was the price. At $125 a round, there are far better courses.
Course conditions
The course is in fantastic condition. Fairways have a good height allowing you to get under the ball. Greens are fast and in great condition. Pro shop greeting is welcoming and easy. Starter is friendly and informative. Overall great course.
Not acceptable
We always love playing Twin Isles. Since the Pope group took the reins the course conditions have never been better, friendly courteous staff.
Yesterday 5 hour round from our scheduled tee time, not acceptable . Imo you’re doing too good a job everywhere else to not rectify this.
It’s always a road block at #4 but nothing like this yesterday ever.
So if you’re going to accommodate regular groups by over booking maybe offer your other customers an honest explanation or perhaps a beverage while we wait, and wait.
love that the superintendent.keeps green grass in fairways. greens are very nice and smooth.
