Seminole Lakes Country Club

Course is very good for a par 62. Only complaint was its dry, and greens are very hard. Needs more watering and let greens grow a bit more.

Thank you for the enjoyable round. As an executive course, Seminole Lake is affordable and challenging for the price. The Pro shop and “19th” hole staff are pleasant and professional. We had an enjoyable time again. We are looking forward to our next round.

Took a good friend with me and got paired up with two other gentlemen. One said hi my name is Chuck. I said my name is chuck’. The other guy said my name is Gary I said I have a brother named Gary. So we kind of hit it off with a good start. We all had about the same skill level and had a fun day. Can’t wait to go back.

This was my first time playing here, I was not very impressed.. The staff were rude and somewhat disrespectful. However this was over shadowed by the members… Rude and Arrogant. They had no means to be rude, I have played all over the country and still have not come across members that rude. I payed 32 dollars before tax for nine….. at three pm. They sent me off the front nine which was only 1900 yards with two par fours and seven par threes. Course conditions were horrible for a Florida golf course, Tee-boxes were over grown and ripped to shreds, fairways were not too bad, but they were very muddy for the dry season here. The rough was just very patchy grass, the fringes were burnt to a crisp. However, the greens were almost perfect, rolled true and they were difficult enough, not fast but fun. The golf carts were just horrible, the starter said I had one of the nice carts and it would just completely not move at times. You would then have to turn the cart on and then back on again. Overall, would not go back, not a great course, go to twin isles next door instead.

Unfortunately, the scheduling was so tight that we were unable to finish due to the sun setting and played for four hours and only got through the 13th hole.

Had an enjoyable round at Seminole Lakes. Expect a four hour round….Easter is coming soon!!

The course had some interesting and challenging holes.

An early 28 man scramble produced a 4:25 minute round. The foursome in front of us were a hole and a half behind for the whole round. Please monitor this group every Wednesday early in the day…they set the pace for the day. All people playing are paying the same price.

Very good challenge. Nice staff at this course.

If you have not tried this course put them on your list to play.. Really fun to experience!

Waited on every hole to tee off, sometimes 3 groups waiting at the tee box.

Pace of play has improved. Getting into a rhythm makes a pleasant round.

Hot day, and slow play do not make for a great day.

Almost every lie is a tight lie.

No warm up range, no pitching green

Tee boxes gone-sand and fertilizer, void of grass. Too small for volume of play

Fairway Bermuda too short-did not overseed-bring extra tees

Greens are small, domed and impossible to hold/putt some with significant damage.

Pace horrible

Layout poor- open fields with ponds on the front, better back

People more interested in fishing for balls than playing golf

Hear it’s much better at Burnt Store. Will try there.
