Bent grass greens were very quick and in great condition. Traps were in wonderful shape.
I truly enjoyed this track -- Dennis Griffith is a master and this is one of his better designs. I would highly recommend this course to the player with a 10 or less handicap index -- strong test in great condition.
I love this course!
Even though it is a little ways north of the city this course is a gem. The back nine(13-16) is definitely more challenging than the front nine. The course is always in great shape and the greens roll true. The practice facilities are nice and the course views make the trip worth it.
Greens in excellent condition..course very well maintained
The overall appearance of course was very good..greens were very fast, but smooth..very challenging..
Challenging and enjoyable layout.
I have played Crystal Falls approximately 6 times and will continue to play this challenging and enjoyable layout. I sign tee time via golf now and course green fee is very reasonable.
It is somewhat of a drive from Marietta, about 40 minutes but drive is enjoyable and always enjoy playing this course. Greens are bent but have improved well from summer. Entire course is always in excellent condidtion, very good range to practice and staff always very friendly.
This course has a nice layout
Very nice course. Challenging, yet some what forgiving. Wide fairways, but also some distance (6235 from thw whites)
The course is great.
The course is challenging to all parts of your game.
Crystal Falls is always great!!
This layout is not for the beginner, but if you enjoy a good test, this is a great course with great views.
Hidden gem. Beautiful setting, quality greens. Well worth the trip.
A little out of way, but worth the trip. Great greens and good hospitality.
Great test of golf
This course can play long if you play the back tees, great test of golf really from any of the tee blocks depending on the type of player you are. Very few tee times available to the public as it's more of a private club atmosphere. With that you get some members unwilling to let you play thru or take their time because it's 'their right', pretty tough for someone not a member to say anything, so be prepared to be held up. Rangers say nothing. I found pace of play to be slow on busy days, weekends especially. Now the course itself I love and would play it every day if I lived closer.
A gem in the North Georgia Hills!
Tough course well kept, long, good layout A little out of the way but it was worth it . Not crowded the day I played on a Friday Afternoon afterwork, played by myself with no problems except 4 straight balls in the water on #6 Can't wait to go back.
Nice course
I have played this course before and will continue to do so. I was disappointed that they had punched their greens and it was not listed as so on Golfnow last week. Golfnow or the course has correct that now when booking.
