Golfer Reviews
Diamond in the rough!
I came to play this course in preparation for a Play Away Day with 20 ladies from Big Canoe. I had been given mixed comments about this course. Upon entering this beautiful community, you could tell it would be as nice as the rest of the amenities were. I was not disappointed! The course was in very good condition! The staff I encountered were super friendly! I am thrilled to bring these 20 wonderful women to Hampton Golf ⛳️ Club!
Best course I’ve played in GA in years, especially for the money
Extremely impressed with the course, staff, pace of play, off cart path rules (all courses should learn and follow this). Just an amazing place, well done across the board! Already planning the next round in less than a week…
Great Course + Great Staff
Had an amazing time at Hampton Village as always. Course is in great condition. Staff is incredible friendly and accommodating. Also, was in the market for a new bucket hat and got great advice for Sean at the front desk as to what bucket hats are in style these days.. Highly recommend!.
Great Value - Tough Course
My wife and I played this course yesterday. Unless you can carry your drive at least 140 yards, don't play this course as there are several holes which require such a drive from the forward/ladies tees. Having said that, the course is in excellent condition with some of the best greens in the area -- well maintained and rolled to consistency. The course requires well positioned shots to avoid sloping fairways and perched greens. Thus, it is a challenging course even for a low handicap player and discouraging for a high handicapper. It is one of the best values for a quality, challenging course in the Atlanta area.
Course was in great shape. It’s good to see that they are putting the money back into the course. Greens were rolling nicely, and some of the problem areas from a few months ago have been addressed. Played on a weekday afternoon and never had to wait on another group. Go play Hampton
Fun Times
It was a good time, course was a little wet cause it rained all week but overall it was a nice course greens are well kept:
Not a Good Start
Nice course and overall in good shape. Construction on one of the par 5. Some tee boxes pretty worn out. The starter was kind of a real donkey( grey haired guy with bucket hat). The starter needs to outgoing and friendly versus rude and aggressive. He asked if we bought the beer here at the clubhouse. If we didnt and we were bringing onto the course illegally he would have us arrested. Welcome to Hampton Village Golf where you might be threatened but hey have a great round.
Good course, bad players
I'm sure the grounds crew does there best but the people that play don't take care of the course at all. I've never seen so many un-sanded club marks on tee boxes and fairways and so many unfixed ball marks on the greens. The course is nice and very challenging and the staff are all very friendly. Overall a very playable and reasonably priced course.
