Hampton Golf Village

Nice public course. Some challenging holes and a lot of elevation changes throughout the course. Several greens you have to have a very accurate approach as significant trouble (dropoffs) just off green on one side.

Very little water on the course except for one or two holes where a creek in front of green makes you have to decide to go for the green or layup. Otherwise, generally tee shots are over a march area.

Good value. The fairways and greens were in very good shape a bit hard.The tee boxes could use some work. Staff is very friendly and cart service running very timely. Too bad the range was mats only. Biggest let down was pace of play. Some very slow players out there. Second letdown, not much was dining area was already closed off but gril was still open. No a deal breaker because it was very nice outside to eat. I'll be back again soon.

Greens in good shape. They are putting in several new tee boxes so some the holes played a lot different than I’ve played before..

Great variety of holes that you have to be on target and hit some solid tee shots to score.Greens in best shape I’ve seen there.

Course was in relatively good shape. They are in process of moving or remaking some tee boxes so some holes where very short. Greens in good shape and rolled true. Good course for the money.

Played as a group of 4 on Friday around 2. It had rained hard earlier in the day but the course drained fine and there was no issue with water. Greens were in great shape and the staff at pro shop and restaurant were great.

Some bare spots in fairway. Seems to be struggling to get going. Greens were relatively good . Most tee boxes were grass challenged.

all in all it is still well worth playing.

Greens= Very good, except for clumpy green weeds on perimeter of almost every green

Tee Boxes = Fair, many need a lot of work

Fairways = Good, too many bare sports though

Pace = Excellent

Sand Bunker = Some good, some bad. Need consistency

Clubhouse personnel = Excellent

This is course is like most in GA right now, struggling to get going coming out of a weird weather winter/ spring. Fairways are decent but they have some bare spots. Greens are struggling to get their bent grass growing and have some weed but overall it’s as good or better than most courses in the area. The layout of good and you use most of your clubs. It’s certainly a worthwhile course and will be back.
