Fairways need to be in better shape still alotnof matted down grass or dirt . Also dislike pairing up of singles in same cart when we don’t know the person.

I booked a hot deal on GolfNow for a Monday afternoon round. I brought my 15 year old son with me to caddy for me, which I do quite often. When I arrived 30 minutes early for my tee time, I was told that I had been grouped into a foursome and if I wanted my son to ride with me they would charge me $30 extra to have our own cart. I refuse to pay $30 for a cart that was already included in my greens fees. There was no budging from the staff, but they did say I could go off in a cart by myself with my son as a rider an hour later with no extra charge for him. If you can do it in an hour...why not now?? I've played this course many times and had my son in the cart with me many times for no extra charge. It's a cheap shot in my opinion and definitely left a sour taste in my mouth. I got no refund of my money since I paid for the round through the GolfNow app under a hot deal. If I pay for a round of golf with cart charge, I should have a cart to myself and have whoever I want to ride with me. Wife, son, or nobody at all. It would be more understandable on the weekend if there is a big crowd and a shortage of carts, but even then $30 is a bit steep to charge for a rider. And there was no shortage of carts at 2:45pm on a Monday afternoon. I would be hard pressed to go back there again after this.

The course has a lot of great challenging holes. It is pretty affordable but does get busy, like most courses in the area. They are doing a lot of work to keep the course in good shape, and it is greening up nicely with the warmer weather. There are still some thin places in the fairways, but overall, it is good. Tee boxes are just ok, but they are working on them. The greens were soft and held the ball well, but it seems that a lot of people don't bother to fix their ball marks, so we ended up fixing a bunch of them.

It is a good course for the money, and I will play there again.

For $49 I though it was a good value. Greens were hard and fast, but rolled fairly true considering you could still see some punch marks. The tee boxes were pretty bad overall. More than a few were just dirt/mud with very little grass. But again, for the price I thought it was more than fair overall.

In the past I always hyped this course up as the best public course for the money. This is no longer the case as green fees have almost doubled and it now needs to be compared to other courses at their designated pricing. At the current green fee price point ($79) I feel there’s so many other courses that are a better value. Hopefully management realizes the niche they carved out in the past as being a tremendous value for a well kept course with decent layout. And avoid being something they’re not.

A fair yet challenging course for all levels of golfer. Conditions were average; nothing egregious. Some patchiness on the fringe. What would have made it perfect is the presence of a beverage cart attendant. All in all it’s a great course and I love playing it!

Moving Hole 7 to a par four and cutting off a lot of a beautiful and challenging hole hurts the course. I know a lot of people didn’t like it because it was long and challenging. But if they can’t manage how to play the hole, they should change their tee box selection. This change doesn’t make sense. Why not keep it as a par 5 and keep Hole 18 as a par 5 and make the course a Par 72?
