About
Situated along Florida's Gulf Coast, Riverside Golf Club in Ruskin is part of a peaceful retirement community. At just over 6,100 yards from the tips, the golf course is on the short side but it still offers an enjoyable round. From the back tees, the course actually presents quite a formidable test. The layout meanders along a creek before wandering across idyllic farmland and finishing along the river bluffs overlooking Hayes Bayou. The diverse terrain provides an array of scenery as well as a variety of different challenges. Water hazards come into play on several holes and there are several strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides, waiting to swallow errant shots. Riverside Golf Club's layout combines more difficult holes with player-friendly features, which makes it approachable for players of any skill level.

Nice course 👍
Nice little course a lot of intimidation off the tee due to how narrow it is. Precision is definitely required. Conditions are good to ok. Green abit slow. The staff and players here are super friendly and nice
Beautiful Course for the Money!
Loved visiting Riverside. It’s got a very local feel and you can tell everyone in the neighborhood takes a lot of pride in this beautiful course. There’s very wide, spread out fairways and the layout is really cool with limited water traps. The facilities are very nice and I enjoyed everyone in the staff. The course wasn’t busy at all so we had a relaxing pace of play. One thing for me at this course is the front and back 9 don’t intersect with the Clubhouse. It was brutal playing 18 right through the sun without a break. No cart girl or anything so pack a lunch and plenty of water. Other than that I loved it and appreciate everyone at Riverside Golf Club!
Our Friday Go-to Course
This is a great course for a casual round. Pretty decent shape. A hidden gem. FYI…. Make sure you bring your water / hydration. No cart person or water stations.
Nice Course
The only downside to this course is the lack of a clubhouse at the turn. Very friendly staff, well maintained course.
Great Value
Great course to play, greens and Fairways were in pretty good condition. Just like the rest of the golf courses they recently aerated the greens so during the morning slowed the ball down considerably, in the afternoon the ball seem to speed up and bounce all around during putting. That’s really our only complaint, would certainly play again, only other small nuance would be the pace of play was rather slow Only due to a very slow older foursome in front of us that seem to play three balls each lol, But the course played great and we had an excellent time.
Nice Fun Place
This was a nice course to play at, I played horrible, but that was all on me. It is narrow, so bring your A game to pipe them down the middle.
Punched greens
I'm not a fan of punched greens and Riverside's greens are punched with very little to no sand dressing.
Of course there is no notification of this. So as for now and maybe the next 3-4 weeks my suggestion is for you to play elsewhere, I will.

Good course for the money
We had a good day for our two-some the temperature was 94° so we only made it through 15 holes and it was time to quit but still a very enjoyable day.
