Riverside Golf Course

Definitely worth the $ 33 we paid

! Play it if you can get on for $30-40!!

Reggie and Mike welcomed us upon our arrival and we got off about 25 minutes later than tee time due to how crowded it was. However, once on the course we played at a decent pace and never were held up by the foursome in front of us nor pushed by the foursome behind us. Finished in 4 hrs., 20 minutes (which is not great, but much better than expected on Easter weekend in Florida). Greens were in good shape with no bare spots or repair marks. Greens were not as fast as usual but rolled true. Fairways are a bit thin so you may have to move your ball a foot or two to place in on a patch of turf. Sand traps were in excellent condition. All-in-all it was a good experience and we will return.

The course was in good condition, pace of play was very acceptable and had a fun time.

The start was not very good, as we were kept back as the people we were supposed to play with had not turned up, and they then sent 4-balls out before us, even that we had a confirmed tee time, until they had a 2 -ball that could join us. And that 2-ball was not really golfers so we had to get away from them as the held up the people behind. Poor management on the course. Will never play it again. Not worth the money and time.

The course is playable, greens are good, Fairways not to bad, everyone there is very friendly!

Teed off just after noon on a Monday. Played as a foursome with three guys I met that day at the course. Several groups were lined up on the first tee and starter (Will) had us wait until the group in front of us finished the first hole before we could tee off. By doing this we didn't have to wait on the group in front of us (at all) until we caught up with them on the 10th hole. Finished round in 4.25 hours. Fairways were thin with some bare patches (we just rolled our ball over to some grass). Greens were not fast but rolled true and had no (zero!) repair spots or damaged areas. Staff members Reggie and Will (outside) and Sherm (inside) were all friendly and accomodating. This place is in no way "upscale" but it's a fun course at an attractive price with a staff that seems to appreciate your business. I look forward to returning and can recommend Riverside.

Let's start with the positives, staff is friendly, green in decent shape.

Negatives, no decent fairways, like with actual grass,, tee boxes aren't much better, pace was not good early on. Greens are in nice shape but aren't true. Greens are more than just green grass. Not returning.

Course was OK overall but fairways & greens could use some better care, water, etc.

Too easy to lose a ball right or left cause almost anything off center finds extra run & like a lot of Fl courses all fairways fall off to the side.

Biggest problem? NO WATER for golfers. Cart service? NOPE.

That ok, get something at the turn, right? No service or clubhouse at #10. UNBELIEVEABLE for. Fl course to not have cart service or water. C’mon guys!

I was able to book a tee time for 3 players on Sunday afternoon when most other area courses were not available. We had an acceptable experience. Staff was nice, greens were in good shape, pace of play was okay- 4:hours, 10 minutes. However, fairways and tees were in poor condition.

Course is typical for Florida— flat, water, and sand. Most holes are surrounded on both sides by houses. No particularly memorable holes.

Very nice layout lots of water most should not come into play

Played early afternoon round on Super Bowl Sunday. Staff members Mike (clubhouse) and Reggie (starter) were welcoming and accommodating. Finished in just over four hours. Greens were fast and true. Fairways a but thin (dry season?) and thus your ball would get quite a bit of extra roll. Sand traps were in decent shape. We very much enjoyed our afternoon at Riverside and hope to return again soon.
