About
Situated along Florida's Gulf Coast, Riverside Golf Club in Ruskin is part of a peaceful retirement community. At just over 6,100 yards from the tips, the golf course is on the short side but it still offers an enjoyable round. From the back tees, the course actually presents quite a formidable test. The layout meanders along a creek before wandering across idyllic farmland and finishing along the river bluffs overlooking Hayes Bayou. The diverse terrain provides an array of scenery as well as a variety of different challenges. Water hazards come into play on several holes and there are several strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides, waiting to swallow errant shots. Riverside Golf Club's layout combines more difficult holes with player-friendly features, which makes it approachable for players of any skill level.

Riverside
Nice open course for a golfer who doesn't play much.
Diamond in the rough
Very nice course, greens, fairways were in great shape, bunkers were well cared for only problem I had was the rough although it was cut it was pretty high to get out of ( for me ) but if I would stay in fairway it wouldn’t affect the round.
We had a fun uneventful round
The course is in a lot better shape than it was when we played last year. Nice fairways and greens. Scenery and landscaping was pleasant. Our foursome went in the restaurant for a drink and had an unplanned dinner, which was very good. Our waitress was very nice and efficient. We will return.
Short but fun
I took my 10 year old with me. The course was perfect, for him. I little short for me. It was a great time. The tee boxes were in good shape. Fairways we're good except a few minor areas. Overall a great and challenging course. I would definitely recommend!
Nice track
Was skeptical playing by some of the Google reviews, but as I started I noticed they were either upset or just being a Karen.
Tee boxes were nice and level, fairways and ruff were well manicured and played nicely. Bunkers were nicely raked and played well, and Greens were medium speed and rolled pretty true, I'm sure if I wanted to be knitpicky I could find something, but overall a great first experience, and definitely will be back when it gets warmer.

Golf Fun in the neighborhood
Friendly staff, good pace, nice variety of holes, and lots of challenges. Keep it out of water and away from homes., Hit fairways and a great round will occur. I will go this course again.
major improvement
the course was in excellent shape. Management has made a major investment in improving the playing conditions.
My only issue was the fivesome that jumped ahead of us to start on the 10th hole. We had to skip a hole to get ahead of them. A ranger is needed.

Great day at Riverside
Perfect experience which I don’t say lightly
Weather really helped but with all this rain, I called before I booked he Mike told me all was good, and is sure was.
Greens were punched but greens were very puttable
Pace was awesome and the guys in the pro shop were just awesome
Best experience I have had in 2 years

Nice small track
Great course to not only teach on but for short hitters also. Also great for those who want to get some practice in. For the most part I play here when I want to get a quick round in or it's raining, there's no cart paths and the course drains fairly well. But don't let the short length fool you, the course has some gimme holes and some you need to hit an accurate shot. Overall it's a fun course.
BEWARE
Course was decent for the $$ just beware of the witch that lives around hole 10/11. Anywhere not on the fairway she’ll probably want an apology and yell out things in your back swing. Probably will stay from here for awhile ! And not one water jug on 18 holes that I saw.

Good Greens
The greens were all in good shape. The back 9 is a very nice, open course while the front nine is bordered by homes. Overall a good value.
