Riverside Golf Course

This was a very nice little course with some very challenging holes. The greens had some mixed grass that presented some putting difficulty .Fairways all seemed to have a reasonable good green grass approach , and the tee boxes were all fairly decent .Most holes were lined on both sides with homes that for the most part didn't seem to bother us to much. The club house was great , staff excellent, and value was good enough to go do it again.

We really enjoyed playing your course.the staff was great and everyone on the course was friendly I did miss the bar/restaurant not being open on Tuesday but we will be back

This course went through some improvements over the last year. The fairways and greens are much better now and it's worth playing again. I like the layout. I'll be back.

I can say give the course a try, it wasn't built for the long hitters, the tips are at 6100 yards. The course will make you think about shot placement, water has been placed in the right spots, so you can't drive every green. Number 2 is a great par 3 downhill 220 from the tips. Also the back nine is more of a challenge than the front.

Also the new greens are running beautifully, they look slow, but buyer beware. I will be back because of the value.

Without picture of the wholes at the teeboxes, it is difficult to play the course.

The course is not the longest but it is challenging. Good value.

I booked for 3 players. Upon arrival, the pro-shop said a single would be paired with us. He already had checked in and had a cart. We were given two cart keys and told if we were ready to play to head to the tee as a large group of ladies was preparing to go out soon. We got off just in front of them and had an open course in front of us... all good so far. When we reached the green of number 5, the ranger (Mike) arrived and began to demand to know why we had 3 carts for 4 players. He didn't simply ask, he seemed highly agitated that we had 3 carts. We mentioned the situation at our start but he wouldn't 'let it go'..... he continued to be obnoxious and rude. We had to wait for him to finally get off his phone or walkie-talkie to putt out as he was loud and had no courtesy for us trying to continue play. When he left we were all in disbelief at his attitude. Two holes later he showed up again with another staff member and had us vacate one of the carts for them to take back in. We were able to finish the rest of our round without further admonishment. The management might want to do a better job of selecting staff that interact with their customers. This individual should not be allowed to negatively affect players opinions of your course.

That said, .....the rest of the staff was pleasant, friendly and efficient. We enjoyed your 'happy hour' afterward and the food was excellent. $70 was reasonable for what we ordered. Hopefully next time we won't have to deal with a similar situation.

It's clear that the course isn't the focus of the Resort, but it's still a good track. Nice length for an average golfer. The greens were a little slower than normal, think they are over seeding. You don't get back to the clubhouse after the 9th, it's after the 12th or 13th. We found the greens medium sized, most pin locations were on a slope so it was tricky to read most Times, especially on a few of the hole locations. A few long rides between the holes. The restaurant only had bud and bud light on draft, and the glasses were small for the price. We didn't eat at the restaurant.

Last time I played this course was about 1 year ago. At that time it was a little run down. I did however like the lay out and always wanted to play it again. I have now played it again and was very surprised to find it in such good shape. I belong to a private club but enjoy playing other courses in the area. The only negative would be the slow roll on the greens. I will play here again and would highly recommend this course to others.

I can understand that the course is not long so you may not like its length, they have re-done the greens and they are very nice for a short course. A lot of time these courses put nothing into their greens not here. The layout is interesting which is a plus, there is no spraying the ball, some of the holes require you too choose your clubs wisely. Overall if you are looking to get in a quick round, this maybe the place for you.

Played here Saturday afternoon, and I was the only one on the golf course. It was very weird. The course it's self is in great shape, except the greens were a bit long and ball rolled super slow. There was a strange layout they had me play, where I drove from hole 3 to 12. The holes I drove past looked nice. This course is located in a senior community where the houses are really close to the fairways/roughs. I think it's an odd location for a golf course. However it is maintained nicely.

Had to play 1 2 3 then skip to 12 13 14 15 16 18 then do thst again.

Played this course for the first time in near 2 years. What a difference. Greens are great, apparently new last year. Nice tees and plenty of grass on the fairways.

New restaurant on site and new golf carts too. Got a great price and fast play, around 3 1/2 hours.

I will be back next week. Pro shop guy was real friendly.

Greens were being dug up, had to play temporary greens so putting was out of the question.

The property has invested in course improvements, and they appear to have helped. Tee boxes and bunkers are in pretty good condition. The course layout is nice, but some fairways and roughs are bare due to extensive efforts to eliminate weeds. A couple of the greens were in pretty bad shape, but they, too. are in the process of being repaired. Staff is friendly and helpful, restaurant is available and good place to get a quick snack/beverage. Overall, not sure I'd want to pay full price for 18, but worth the money with a good deal through GolfNow.

We have played here several times. The Fairways and some greens have become very stressed. Still it is a very fun course to play. It can be a challenge with very tight fairways. A little work on the maintenance of the course and this could be a hidden gem.
